  1. I'm not sure who Boxcar is but I can tell you I haven't learned a single thing from what BTS posts.
  2. Actually, you must not understand the meanings(s) of the word synonymous and the context in which it can be used.
  3. The probablility of something being "very small" and the term egregious are not synonymous.
  4. Which means Kansas City's players have played better.
  5. It's even more egregious to start a thread thinking that batting order in a lineup really matters.
  6. Yup. In hindsight blowing Price in this game might have saved our season.
  7. At least we know now that starting Stroman in game 5 is 100% the correct move.
  8. Confirmed. Price was coming in if Loup didn't get Odor out. Price was also coming in if Sanchez let Alberto and DeShields on.
  9. Pitchers don't go through scouting reports during side sessions.
  10. Just what I thought, he has been very pedestrian to awful. No Yadier Molina postseason effect...lol http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/m/martiru01.shtml On second thought our big guns with postseason experience all have a history of being bad in the postseason - Price, Tulo and Martin. That sucks.
  11. What year? I don't think he actually did.
  12. Been to the playoffs 70% of his career but I don't recall any team he has been on that has gone far in the playoffs. Does anyone have any numbers?
  13. Rangers had momentum going into this series. That matters the most in the postseason.
  14. The hotter team and momentum usually prevails in postseason. That f***ing intangible matters the most. Unfortunately the Jays/Gibbons/The Greek decided to kill about 2 months of that momentum a week prior to the postseason.
  15. Gibby f***ing this up large. The move was going to Lowe there. Best right handed relief pitcher, high leverage etc.
  16. Yankees came back from a 1-0 series defecit in 1996 against the Rangers (6-2 loss). They ended up winning the series 3-1 along with a world series.
  17. The thing that strikes me the most is the momentum factor. It got destroyed the final week of the season when they just packed it in. That narrative seems to be playing out.
  18. The Yankees lost their first game against the Rangers in the ALDS at home in 1996. They went on to win the World Series. ---fakewilner
  19. Yup. Momentum plays a big factor and for the first time in about 2 months the Jays do not have any momentum.
  20. 2 game sample size of pitchers going on 11 days of rest in the playoffs. Both put up stinkers....lol
  21. 1996 Rangers Vs. Yankees. Rangers took the first game. That is back in the day when I was a Yankee fan.
  22. Along with Dan Bellino, Jim Wolf and Laz Diaz in NY for replays.
  23. Nah. Babau was trying to troll me and I accidently trolled you I have no idea who the umpire crew is. That is why I started the thread. My list is guys I don't want anyone near the Jays in the post season.
  24. Angel Hernandez - Head umpire C.B Bucknor Bill Miller Jordan Baker
