I don't think I've ever seen EE come close to beating out a double play. -
How so? We're the league's only team who scoring greater than 5 runs / game on average... if our pitching keeps things to 4 or less per game we will win some games.

I feel like this team is actually playing very good ball lately. If our pitching can just stay average, we'll be ok.

We've had plenty of close games... just usually on the losing end of them so no save opportunity.

If Bautista ever gets back in to RF, keeping EE at 1B to have Colabello's bat as DH is a possibility... though I think getting Smoak back at 1B is more valuable considering he gets on base at a high clip as well.

Colabello has a .509 BABIP LOL. Now would be a good time to invest in the powerball lottery too.

Buehrle is the definition of a veteran. In most cases he can recover from a rough start, he doesn't beat himself up over it and just keeps doing his job to keep the game within reach.
