  1. Solid defensive utility IF. Might mean Travis is hurt more than expected, though.
  2. Next season I'd be down for Bautista at 1B and some combination of Pillar, Pompey, Revere, and Saunders in the outfield. Get as much defense as possible, and maybe put less wear and tear on Jose's body.
  3. He struck out Gardner on a low strike. The umpire has been pretty bad both ways.
  4. Tulo is a lot better than Reyes. Stats, eye test, Fangraphs, whatever you want to use, it will come to the same conclusion.
  5. Just make him the long reliever during Hutchison starts. He'll get a starter's workload that way as well.
  6. I was responding to the person who said the WC was sufficient enough. Finish as high as possible is a concept that needed to be stated in this case.
  7. The division should absolutely be the number one goal. Anything can happen in a one game Wild Card and if you can make the playoffs by avoiding that game, then do it. However, if the division is unattainable, then aim for the 1st Wild Card. At least that would be a home game.
  8. Lowe better not pitch like he did against the Royals.
  9. Serve the suspension during the 3 games against Oakland next week. Problem solved. Also, Sanchez should have never hit Escobar when he knew the ump was derpy as hell. It was still a close game and allowing a baserunner for no reason was stupid.
  10. The Indians and A's can EAD. They are both about to get swept.
  11. Yeah, should have stopped after "Bobcat said". Dude has no sources at all.
  12. Wouldn't surprise me if Jays/O's is the Wild Card game. The Twins are bad and the Angels are faltering.
  13. The only way I see Rogers increasing payroll enough to afford Price would be if the team either made or won the World Series. A couple of home dates won't change their mind.
  14. The pen has been used a lot (the good relievers at least) so I don't mind stretching Price out a bit. Just no point going 130 pitches in a four run game. Hawk, Lowe, or Schultz can finish this.
  15. I didn't see it but don't discount New York doing something stupid.
  16. 119 pitches, four run lead. Take him out. Bring Lowe in to get that blown save out of his head.
  17. I'd take Price out now. I don't mind abusing his pitch counts but against the Yankees. Keep him fresh for the Skanks.
  18. Are Sanchez and Osuna available today? I believe both have pitched in 3 of the last 4 games. Might need to get by without them.
  19. Price loses all credibility from umps when he puts on the Blue Jays uniform.
  20. Is asking for a sweep too much? Bury these guys when you have a chance.
  21. Goins batting 7th. That seems a little high for him.
  22. Can they? Yes. Will they? The odds are against it. The Jays would have to murk them in the head to head games remaining to have a shot.
  23. You don't trade six years of Daniel Norris for two months of Price. The Jays would be foolish not to try to sign him. Whether Price would want to come back is a different story, but an attempt has to be made, even if it's seven years and $30m a year. Don't make the trade if you're not prepared to go all-in for 2016-18 as well.
  24. A Royals/Jays playoff series would be intense as hell. Make it happen.
