  1. Wonder if we'll see Cory Rasmus this series.. I'd love to see Cory vs. Colby.
  2. And the streak continues! 36 in a row! BTW, Angels pen only has 6 saves this year, mostly because of the terribleness of Ernesto Frieri..
  3. And once again, the Angels bullpen blows a lead. And you thought the Jays bullpen had problems..
  4. Good thing Janssen, the normal closer, will return by the end of the weekend.
  5. Person who said O's would sweep the Astros is wrong so far.. Astros and O's are tied at 2 in the 7th.
  6. Much better outing by Santos. Now let's get some runs. BTW, the Angels bullpen is terrible.
  7. Santos in, trying to regain his command and confidence. Hope he enjoys coming in during middle innings.. Janssen's due back shortly.
  8. Rough night for Bautista. At least this'll be the last time he sees Richards tonight, as he'll be out by Bautista's next AB.
  9. BTW, Escobar left the Rays game with an injured hand. Too bad their bullpen is going to get gassed again, because Odorizzi went only 5 IP to get 11 Ks.
  10. Not bad. McGowan got out of it. Now let's try to drive up Richards' pitch count.
  11. And the Rays will lose the game by scoring 0 runs for him. Oh, and Escobar left the game for unknown reasons.
  12. Richards has been incredibly wild tonight.. Conger isn't helping.
  13. Nice catch by Bautista! Little worried there it was going to be a 2-run double or a HR there.
  14. True.. but the PS4 version has loading issues according to Pastapadre. Otherwise, it's a great game.
  15. What a joke of a lineup the Angels have tonight. And regarding Ibanez, he's about to turn 42, and looks cooked. As for the rest of the lineup, it's not terribly impressive outside of Trout and Pujols, and maybe Kendrick.
  16. PLEASE stop using MLB 14 The Show for simulation.. Lawrie's not even in the lineup tonight.
  17. Can't be helped, especially since we're in hockey country, and some of those players are NHL drafted, especially with Rogers having that big TV deal starting next season. Plus, Guelph is going for a championship tonight.
  18. WTF? Fans at the Tampa Chamber of Commerce seem to know nothing about baseball.. I expect Cleveland to laugh at that lineup when they clobber the Rays.
  19. Cleveland and Chicago are real question marks.. some of the factors may include: -Economic factors (especially in Cleveland) -Fan apathy (no ALDS/ALCS for Cleveland since 2007), and Chicago (no playoffs since the 2008 season). -Crappy stadium (Chicago White Sox) -Fans preferring to see the Cubs or Reds. -Bad weather this spring -Rebuilding in Chicago
  20. And another sign of a potential fire sale.. Tampa's attendance continues to drop, at 18,337 per game. With the team in last place, expect their attendance to drop further.
  21. And it's no wonder the Rays are 15-20. Expect fire sale talk to increase, with David Price, Ben Zobrist, James Loney, and possibly even Evan Longoria to be in trade rumors, as the Rays organization will be slashing payroll heavily if they're not going to contend.
  22. Kenny Wilson has been DFAd by the Twins(to make room for Chris Parmalee and Aaron Hicks). Chance for Toronto to reclaim him.
  23. And the Rays are pathetic. Once again, their pitching doesn't get past 5 innings, and they can't score. Price trade rumors are likely going to fire up more soon..
  24. Don't forget Royals/Mariners. We're tied with Seattle for a wild card right now.
