  1. I don't think a do nothing GM would help the Jays compete, But he could help them lose for less money. He doesn't seem to extend his players or trade them while they still have value. I don't know why you hate AA so irrationally that you don't cheer for the Jays, But I assume it has more to do with your ego than anything else.
  2. Would AA want to stay if they make him a GM in name only. I think people assume that since DD got to the playoffs he's a great GM, But that's like using W-L record as a way to judge pitchers. I can't think of any moves Baltimore has made that I was impressed with.
  3. What do you think he is good at?
  4. Who here would prefer Duquette as GM over AA? I wouldn't.
  5. Isn't there a deflated football you should be concerning yourself about.
  6. It was a legit bet to go all in, No one at the time could have predicted how it ended. Meanwhile people blasted the Royals trade for Shields because they weren't close enough, Best laid plans of mice and men.
  7. You forgot Tillman and Ubaldo. Also Stroman and Buehrle were worth more than any Orioles starter, Although Gausman would be worth more if he pitched an entire season. The rotation you mentioned is k, that is all.
  8. Can't fault Duquette for SSS
  9. He got lucky, You can't build a club designed to win all the 1 run games. He's not the worst GM, just can't think of any good moves he made other than the Cruz signing.
  10. He needed to get a pitcher that didn't get paid so he was kind of handcuffed.
  11. Since it's a get the word out tour, I can't see why you're surprised that's it being promoted heavily.
  12. May as well also say I am worried Rodgers is going to force AA to make a bad trade for duquette, If they give them an actual prospect I will be bummed. Hopefully Duquette also gets very little say in when it comes to the GM duties, No way is he a better GM than AA.
  13. You're projecting. He doesn't really bombard people with his lifestyle, but folks like you are shocked at how he lives so it gets a lot of play. I've seen more tweets of sneakers from Stroman or Reyes than I've seen Norris pics. Also I know a few people that live like that, A couple of them are just hippies, But one of them is the smartest guy I know. Some people just love nature and don't care for the comforts that make others happy.
  14. Gave me "internal options at second flashbacks", Just hope AA's position on reliever volatility doesn't mean he thinks all his scrubs have a chance to be Wade Davis.
  15. So they are comfortable starting the season with a terrible bullpen? Don't think many relievers will be available since the new wildcard keeps most teams from folding.
  16. We're golden then, false alarm.
  17. I'm actually far more concerned only 1 starter is projected above 2 WAR and only 2 relievers are projected as above league average.
  18. I wouldn't give up Sanchez or Norris for one year of Zobrist.
  19. Even during the season it won't drown out baseball threads.
  20. He my not pitch as well, but will get more innings. The only peripheral that's likely to regress is HR/9, wouldn't be crazy to expect an increase in K/9.
  21. Yeah thought that was a great casting. Farrel could be s*** though
  22. and SNL hasn't been funny since(insert favorite cast member).
  23. Back in my day TV was better, not this garbage the youngens are watching wargle wargle wargle.
