    This is why all the slobbering over the A's as guaranteed champs on here all year was idiotic. They're not even waiting for the playoffs to start before choking this year. For all the hype, Beane only seems capable of putting together a team of chokers every year. Personally, I think the O's are the scariest team in the AL.

    f*** Rogers for slurping the most overrated player in history (Jeter). I am so sick of the pity parties that every team throws when a Yankee retires, as if nobody has ever retired before.

Hell, maybe you all (and you know who you are) can hold off until this pathetic franchise finally fields a playoff team for the first time in 21+ years before jumping down the throats of anyone who criticizes or questions the team and its management.

    Not arguing that, but the Kings just aren't the best example. It's the clearly s***** teams like the Florida Panthers a few years ago that backed their way into the playoffs by accumulating loser points that are truly pathetic.

    Those Kings were dominant in the playoffs and would have had a higher seed if not for the incompetent Terry Murray coaching them for half the season. They then backed it up by following that championship with a WCF appearance and then another Cup. I wouldn't say they're "mediocre."

    Does predicting doom for the rest of the league ever get old to you when it rarely ever happens and the team you root for is missing the playoffs every year for over two decades?

    The Yankees, Red Sox, Rays and even the f***ing Orioles have all made the playoffs multiple times since the last time we were in them. The "AL East" excuse is also tired.

    This is very true as well. His idea of "value" is nonsensical. If an outside free agent isn't willing to play for 1 year at $0, AA won't sign them no matter how much they can help the team, but he's perfectly fine with trading the farm for horrendous contracts like Reyes.

Free agents won't come here anymore because it's deteriorated into a loser franchise with loser ownership, a loser front office, and a loser coaching staff, year in year out. It's as simple as that. And it's not going to change until competent people come in and build a real winner the correct way. But this franchise would rather just blame it all on excuses instead of solving the root causes of why this franchise is completely irrelevant.

    This franchise is a f***ing joke. 21 years of no playoffs and not a thing will be done to fix it! Attendance needs to plummet to Tampa Bay levels next year to send Rogers a message.

    I'm thinking any new president would want their guys at GM and manager anyway, so AA and Gibbons would be automatically packing their s*** alongside Beeston.
