    Hilarious how the homers have gone from "still in first place" to "still in wildcard position" to "still have a shot." What's next - "still haven't been contracted yet"? It's not really much of a "race," this team has simply bent over and allowed the real teams to run a train on them.

    At this point, we need to be scoreboard-watching the teams below us in the standings in hopes of getting better draft position.

    This team is not a starter away. This core had its chance two years in a row and failed miserably, with hundreds of millions of Rogers' money being flushed down the drain in the process. We need a legitimate rebuild with a competent GM (Farhan Zaidi please).

    Maybe you didn't, but the majority of people on here shouted down every valid critique of the team with "STILL IN FIRST PLACE" for weeks even though it was obvious that May was a massive fluke and the real team f***ing sucks.

    Nah, not yet. He was handed a s*** sandwich by BC and is making the best of it. And at least he builds teams that can actually make the playoffs, unlike AA.

    Considering how much of a crapshoot the MLB playoffs are, yes, just getting into the playoffs is something worth cheering for. And 21 years and counting of no playoffs f***ing sucks. It also f***ing sucked to see the Expos miss out on playoff appearances that could have saved the franchise due to the lack of a wildcard.
