  1. Rays are going to 7-0. Crushing the hapless A’s.
  2. Yes. Swung for fences and missed in '13. '15 and '16 rejuvenated the franchise with the fan base. signed Vlad. Deal for JD was special. His Jose and Edwin extensions under market were precursors and training to longer ones he is doing in ATL. Just learning along the way.
  3. Watched Yanks O's game, and a big win for BAL. Bautista is just so nasty. Sits 99-101 and then drops that splitter in. He doesn't always know where its going. Doesn't have to. From A ball to this.
  4. You guys are right. The old E5 dark times. I blocked that period out lol. Edwin will always be a fav of mine. The 2016 wildcard bomb for that W I’ve watched 1000 times at full volume.
  5. Team has a lot of positives. bats look lethal. Berrios, the 2B merry go round, some of the pen and Belt is in a coma - all a bit of a concern but so far good start on the road.
  6. He wasn't a FA - we traded for him for Rolen and then AA extended?
  7. Atta boy Yimi! Richards change keeps him on the roster and for whatever reason they trust Mayza two seamer/ SL combo more than Gage's short arm hide-a-ball.
  8. Its debatable but I still think overall our pen gives up too much contact. Hopefully Green can come back and be Green. Probably going to have to give Nate a shot before too long. Lets hope Garcia can get a couple Ks here.
  9. These plate appearances are incredible. Smashing the ball all over. Being tough outs with 2 strikes. KK taking 2B. Loving it.
  10. Nice W Men. Tight D. Pen solid. Manoah would have had a rough night against a tougher line up, but he got it done somehow. Stuff looked pretty mediocre. Varsho continues to impress and with every knock Chappy solidifies its his last Jays season likely. Belt is still lost - he'll come around. Loving the oppo tonight from Vlad and Varsho.
  11. I’ll love him too if he can keep painting sinkers down on the corner at 97.
  12. Impressive Kooch!! Atta boy. We so needed that start.
  13. He needs to get back on track. No need to lose JBJ there. He got squeezed.
  14. Soooo sooo nice to see. Love to see him get through 6. Still a tight one.
  15. lol. Truly. I honestly thought he would be focused and at least a little bit leaner this year. AZ wanted Moreno instead for a few reasons.
  16. Ya, I saw his first SEA hit...was 0/12. Smashed one on a line off the wall. Streaky as f*** at plate and steady mediocre on D. Normal Teo.
  17. Agree. I'm just getting used to no Teo. Zips has Varsho projected at 131 wRC+. All over that!
  18. Big step down from Teo. I like Varsho. He hit that pretty well, but don't see his bat as a realistic 4 option. Rather see Belt there if he can get it going.
  19. "The Yarbrough Man" - our oft nemesis chased. Some nice swings from the boys. C'mon Vlad.
  20. Agree. Belt worth the no bounce back risk. Solid LHH option in order on 1 year deal, if he can stay healthy.
  21. Just caught up on gm on PVR. Berrios baseball savante page picking right up from '22 and he looks shell shocked on mound, but should be getting used to it. Hard contact all over. Even JBJ getting in on it. Singer owning us except for Chappy crushing it. Not the '23 start we were looking for. KiKuchi will shut the door on them tomorrow if we can't come back tonight. I feel it. gulp
  22. Funny, was thinking exact same comparable this am. More likely to give you a solid 2-4 'ish season than a #1 (which is a pretty rare commodity anyway).
