  1. Jesus. Small ball gets it done again.
  2. What a game. Seagar is just such a good player. That HR swing. Right at the top of the zone. Nelson nice job to get him.
  3. Randomness triumphs lol. Congrats snakes. Well done! Great series. What a thrill for this young team.
  4. 3 outs in the tank PHI. This is going to be fun to watch whatever the outcome. Both series have been excellent.
  5. 100% its on Varsho to show it was worth it. There is no real Kirk/Moreno debate anyway. How many honestly wouldn't take Moreno and his +2 control/body type/upside over Kirk any day?
  6. Cuban Teo swinging wildly all night seals the deal with a 110 line drive GS. Wow.
  7. Texas at bats relentless lol. What a series.
  8. Astros at bats just relentless.
  9. I agree the RA trade was universally panned from the get go. They got 800 semi s***** IP and 7-8 WAR from him. You cant argue that was a solid trade. About all he gave them was innings eaten. Painful to watch. My point was only about the endless complaining was incessant throughout 15 and 16 when we played in the League Championship series. Our first playoffs since '93. I was focused on that. The deal was done in 2013 but complaining went on years. Unlike say the Berrios deal where we moved 2 top prospects, Berrios rebounded this year and the prospects we gave up turned out to be s***. Thor exploded on the scene in '15 which heightened the anger. Bit like Moreno and to a lesser extent LGJ this playoffs. For what they gave up Jays need to get more than elite D - the next 2/3 years will be telling. Nobody knows at this point really how its going to shake out. So much can change for Moreno and Varsho. LGJ is gone from the evaluation now other than '23. Ya, I am really looking forward to the Wheeler Gallen rematch. Playoffs have been awesome this year.
  10. For sure. Its takes me back to every Syndergaard Mets and RA start in 2015 & 16, AA haters filled the board with endless righteous posts & memes. Got a text from my bud in Scottsdale AZ this am. "This team is insane. Need to thank the Jays". lol. I just responded PHI is going to win and in the long run Varsho will be better, but I feel a bit like I'm whistling past the graveyard. lol. Lets hope not. Time will tell now.
  11. Power in the playoffs plays so big.
  12. Yep. It ain't all randomness. They are solid and have been doing it 7 years.
  13. Vlad school of baserunning graduate.
  14. Game of inches on those first two base hits and Semien line out. BABIP giveth and taketh away.
  15. It was only 2015 when Jose vs Tex Gm 5 bat flip had them bawling for years...now Garcia pimps that to f*** in 2023 and it was pretty normal.
  16. Think that was intentional? Makes no sense down with 0 out and a runner on 1B in a 2-2 series. Close game in this park. I don't buy it. Dumb if they drilled him on purpose.
  17. Your 6 hitter right thar' takes 100 the other way for 2B. Guy has been so consistent last 3 seasons.
  18. This is fun to watch!! 101 from the big man past the big man.
  19. Whenever a top prospect like Moreno is traded, its going to be debated for years lol. Any material deal. This board has been like that since 2013.
  20. Just awesome. You never know when a big play like Semien's on D is going to matter in a game but it sure looks huge now. That gets through and its a fork in HOU.
  21. The Cuban Teo strikes again!!
  22. Semien diving stab to save 2 runs and end the inning. Pretty play.
  23. The at bats from Alvarez and Abreu there battling to stay alive with 2 strikes to get the bat on the ball to put it in play to go ahead were pretty amazing.
  24. In the 80s the blue collar BoSox fans in the area I'm from in NS didn't fly much. They drove to Boston 7-8 hours less time than Toronto. Or get their vehicle on a short ferry ride to Maine and up from there. Also...this was early-mid 80s and TOR was just building as a legit team....mind you the BoSox kinda sucked for a lot of that same time too. Most of them would be TOR bound now.
  25. Another solid head to head here with Montgomery and a 40 year old Verlander who looks tonight like he might have another 2-3 years in him. Amazing that he lost so much time due to TJ at that age and bounced back to be this effective.
