So nice to see Martin contributing like he can. Wasn't pretty for either team but a W is a W. Get em tomorrow!

    He never did, but he used to throw more elevated 4S FB that were 93/94. Could ocassionally touch 95.

    I think Hutch walked 5 in his last Bisons start. We need Stro to realize the league has figured out his magic tricks.

    I find the "Stroshow" just annoying when you are giving up as many squared up balls and contact as he is. I'd rather have Estrada or Sanchez start a big game over him at this point.

    Remember the good ol days when Duane Ward came out of the pen in 71 games or more 4 straight seasons before his arm fell off. He pitched 127 innings once....in relief lol.

    I'd say his WAR and xFIP make him more than a 3-5 back end guy on the vast majority of rotations. He could be more which is why most of us are frustrated.

    He has been solid but this is the reason Stro is struggling to be a true 1. Spin a ball off the plate there or elevate the 4S.

    Just watched the gm. Wow. Pretty exciting win. The D was horrific for us, but the bats came through. A lot of balls hit the other way tonight. Farthest thing from a Zeke fan, but he squared up 3 balls tonight. More than you can ask of a 4th OF. Get em tomorrow. Go Jays!

    Just watched the top of the 9th from last night on Jays in 30. Some excellent approaches from Smoak, Pillar and Travis to RF against Chapman. They all looked like they shortened up a bit on their swings. Travis hit the 102 MPH 6th pitch of the AB (down and in) on a line to RF. Pretty impressive for a guy who saw nothing close to that in his rehab.

    He really is. He seems to be getting better with more command of his change and slider. He doesn't always seem to locate his FB that well, but he has enough on it and some late life that's getting it done.

    Just got final inning on PVR. Osuna slider to K A-Rod was nectar. Great comeback to take this series.

    Yeah, looking forward to that. He is really swinging it much better and we need to keep him rollin' Want to see the T n T combo up the middle.

    I was ok with it too. We needed to close out a W tonight badly to give us a shot at winning this series, and Gibby didn't want to take any chances. It may bite us tomorrow but we have just blown too many games to f*** around.
