    Caught up on PVR awhile ago. That RCF HR made me very happy. Let's hope he can get on a roll. Nowhere to go but up for our C. Atta boy Osuna! Great W tonight with some pop returning.

    Going to temper my expectations for the kid but sure good to see him back. ^ That should be a pretty solid line up, even with Tulo out. Shame about that quad. He has been squaring up balls much more consistently lately.

    His net cost is $30mm over Reyes plus the prospects we gave up. I still think he has a chance to be worth more than the incremental cost. Worth riding this out vs what we would get back, if he waived his NTC, which nobody really knows the answer to.

    Loved that lead in segment about the Jays turning it around at Yankee Stadium. I want that feeling back of our Jays being feared and crushing that ball and playing great D. Lets go Jays!

    No kidding. I like the way Smoak is swinging it and hitting balls hard all over. 2 explanations: A. Gibby being Gibby. B. Smoak is working through some injury we don't know about. Sadly I pick A.

    Its not the NHL but congrats to Canada for their 2nd consecutive WC Gold Medal. Tough tourney to win overseas with some 2nd tier players; lots of competition; and one and done format in the medal round. Love to hear the anthem of the Maple Leaf at the end.

    I thought Storen would find it again. He has (or had) good stuff. I watched the way Floyd threw the ball in the Spring and felt confident with him at a SP or pen arm I liked the arm of Chavez for 2 IP in to get us through the 7 and/or 8th. He wasn't a castaway. OAK wanted a more controllable cheaper asset with possible upside. I thought Loup threw the ball ok last year and was cursed for luck. Was confident in Osuna development and thought if anything his secondary pitches would improve. Thought Cecil was a lockdown 3 to 5 out go to guy against either LHH or RHH to get us to the 9th.

    I actually thought they would be quite good, and certainly good enough. Would have loved to have seen another arm added but understood the rationale for not doing it with the price of relievers in the FA market last off season. I never thought they would ever have this much trouble. Cecil not being Cecil 2nd half 2015 has been more of an issue that Storen imo.

    Right, sorry. Read that incorrectly. If he was to tear it down then, and that's a big if, then I think JD would be part of the movement. 2 more years of control (albeit 2018 could be expensive through arb). I can't see him extending JD when he could bring us back some valuable assets. He will be 33 as a FA. Shapiro is a guy who traded Bartolo at 29 when he was still considered one of the best arms in the league.
