  1. Unfortunately not. The static 125K slots after the first 10 rounds can't be reallocated. You can only share money from the first 10 rounds, after that, only overslot deals from 11-40 actually count against your cap. Underslot deals offer no extra budget space.
  2. The guy to keep an eye on outside of the top 10 rounds is Kameron Guangorena. Rank 104 guy on MLB's list that the Jays got in the 36th round. HS catcher. Other high school players drafted between rounds 11-40: Round 21 | Kobby Lopez - LHP Round 27 | Kyle Luckham - RHP Round 35 | Damiano Palmegiani - 3B Round 38 | Francisco Ruiz - C Round 39 | Cole Beverlin - RHP

  4. Callis and Mayo like the pick. Middle infield high school guy. They say the Jays wouldn't have picked him here if they didn't think they could sign him. Rank 143 on MLB Top 200.
  5. *Addison Barger. Leon King is the high school he went to, lol.
  6. The Padres just drafted the girl from Spy Kids.
  7. Welcome to the 2018 First-Year Player Draft. Draft day discussion will take place in this thread. This post will be updated with live streams and pick results as they become available. 8. If anyone actually gives a s*** about the "best player available" graphics on the front page, sorry about not being able to update past the first round tonight. Stepped out of the house and won't be back till 1-2 at night. I'll update with Day 1 results when I'm home and try my best to keep it going tomorrow while I work.
  9. Goddamnit, I wanted Beer in Round 2.
  10. Why the f*** would you not take the best player available at #12 when there's consensus top-5, top-10 guys available, and then try and save some chump change to "seduce" 2nd round talents later in the draft, where you're not even likely to sign them.
  11. The Raptors drafted Anunoby, what are you talking about lmao
  12. Skipping the bargaining stage of grief with this one. Call me if this f***in kid does something 5 years from now.
  13. Jays on the clock. I'm so ready to throw myself off of a bridge.
  14. Uh no. I'm the biggest advocate of tanking you'll ever see. It infuriates me how this s***** organization can't even lose right. If you look over the last 10-15 years, the Jays have lost out on so many star players and decent regulars that were drafted exactly one selection before they picked. The Jays were trash for so long in large part because they never won enough to make the playoffs and never lost enough to get decent draft picks. Meanwhile the Astros and Nationals both tanked hard enough to get amazing players that are going to be effective for them for years.
  15. Man, f*** Liberatore. I'm tired of watching prospects for five years before they do anything. I wanted a bat so badly and the only one that's remotely interesting left on the board now is Gorman. If they draft Rolison I'm done.
  16. I f***ing hate the Pirates by the way. I still haven't gotten over losing Meadows one pick before the Jays drafted in 2013.
  17. So now I'm pretty much going to be disappointed on some level with whoever the Jays get.
  18. Swaggerty is probably the guy I want now that Kelenic is off the board, but Swaggerty is a lot more likely to bust than Kelenic.
  19. Every pick that we get closer to the Jays where Kelenic isn't drafted, it infuriates me more and more how mediocre this f***ing team is. LOSE A FEW MORE GAMES.
  20. Is this the same woman who was conducting atrocious interviews with the kids last year? Because this woman is just as bad.
