Fisher Cats pummeling Hartford today, 14-2 in the 8th inning.
Austin Martin has had a huge day. 5-for-6 with three singles and two doubles (one was a ground-rule double). 2 runs, 4 RBIs and his average is now up to .287.
Samad Taylor had another big day as well. 4-for-5 with two doubles, a bunt single and a walk. 3 runs, 4 RBIs, average up to .324.
Otto Lopez continues to be on fire. 3-for-5 with two singles, a double and a walk. His lone out was a GIDP. Drove in 2 runs and average is up to .352.
Moreno hit a bomb early and added a double later. 2-for-5, 3 RBIs, average up to .375.
New Hampshire is also getting a lot of production from Vinny Capra. About to be 25 years old so there probably isn't much to see there but he's 5-for-6 today, is hitting .396 on the season and had a 182 wRC+ going into today. Has never hit nearly this well before.
Edited the above list with end-of-game results since Capra, Taylor and Martin had another at-bat after I started writing.
