We already lost the season, might make the most of it by getting a top 3 pick. And I have a pretty decent job and a house, thank you very much.

He did adopt the Donaldson line of thought of hitting fly balls. But then again, that probably happened last season.

I'd take him on a minor league deal. There is a chance he just needs to adjust to his lower velocity or he's total garbage now.

I hope it happens. Not sure why so many people dissing his defense, he has clearly declined but you could do a lot worse with some of the experiments teams are putting out there in the corner outfield. Would a Trumbo or Davis be better in right field? Hell no. Bautista can still do a pretty good job without looking stupidost days.

To me, it makes a lot of sense to extend Stroman and Sanchez now, pre-arb they are much more willing to accept pennies where if you wait for arbitration, they already have a strong idea of how much they can make and are using those figures as the floor. Only way to get a massive discount is pre-arb IMO.

That seems like a cheap price to pay for Sale. I get it that Moncada is highly regarded but Sale is out of this world. It's almost like trading Moncada for Donaldson, we would never do that.

I'm happy we actually gave him an offer, that's definitely a step in the right direction. Wonder what that offer was, probably 60-80M.
