    It will, right now Cubs have a 79% chance to win the NLDS, that number is calculated when they give them 27.3% to win the world series. We had the same thing, when we had to play the wild card, our chances were much lower mainly because you have to win 1 more series than anyone else.

    That salty bastard probably feels sorry by now! Why would he feel sorry? He probably saves so much money on tax alone in Texas.

    Nah, he wanted them to give him an extension given that they already had another major league catcher. They said they couldn't guarantee he will be catching for them next season so he didn't want to go there. So he was traded to a team that he couldn't veto.

    They should give a QO to both of them IMO. Can't believe MLBTR suggested we shouldn't give Bautista a QO. The guy will reject it on ego alone.

    He's been doing that all his career, even with the Blue Jays. I always thought he sucked because of it though, but I guess he got better and still does it, so can't be related.

    I don't think it was about fun, I think when your leaders in the dugout are all pissed and scream and create a general tone for revenge then the pitchers feel it's up to them to be part of that dugout and deliver on that revenge.

    Common, managers don't order players to throw at other players. If anything, Odor probably set the tone for anyone to throw at Bautista the same way Donaldson set the tone for Happ to throw at the Yankees.

    I'm happy we won and all, but why be so nasty towards them? I get the Odor thing but Bannister hasn't done anything to justify this kind of language IMO.

    They figured we're not going to lose more than one infielder and Gibby likes having his pinch hitters. Also, if you're in a position where you need to replace two infielders, chances are the game is done anyway.

    I wouldn't call him shitballer, in two games against us this season he went 7 innings each and only allowed 2-3 runs in each. It's not elite level but it's pretty darb good.
