    Vancouver is a beautiful city with tons of things to do and it's fairly clean. In my few days there the only two things I didn't like about it was that it was incredibly expensive, and there were tons of homeless people there (end of August). Their subway system was quite good (honor system, really?), and my brother and I even got in a Canadians game. It was the most unorganized baseball game I had ever seen. Canadians throwing balls all over the field. Philly's public transit (SETPA) is not so hot. They have trains, trolleys, and buses and they get to pretty much every area, but they are almost never on time. Most of the stations are falling apart, and you have to use gold doubloons as form of payment. I waited for 25 minutes in the hood for a trolley a couple weeks ago.

    I don't think I'd want him anywhere near Toronto. Maybe he'd be fine 100 miles from Toronto (Buffalo!)

    Watch him stock up on right fielders/pitchers and have them switch throughout the game to maximize their output.

    At least Beane is very good at giving his manager good platoon options. He can trade Cespedes for a pitcher because he has/can get platoon players to make up the difference, but he can't platoon pitchers.

    Lackey doesn't wanna play for 500K but he was quite okay with getting paid millions to rehab.

    I guess the Phillies don't want to pay more than $10 million of the remaining money. I wonder what it would take to get him. RAJ doesn't have a good track record when it comes to trading his star pitchers (think Lee).

    Brett Wallace has to be the ugliest guy in the organization now. He kinda looks like Smeagol from Lord of the Rings.

    Of course no one wants to be demoted at their workplace, but if he isn't getting results he shouldn't be up here.
