I use creatine beforehand and whey protein afterwards, that's it. I know there are a lot of supplements out there but in my opinion you don't really need them. Just work hard with your routine and keep adding weight, miles, resistance, etc and you'll see your results.
Very true. I think a lot of guys misunderstand that cardio is absolutely needed to lose weight and be healthy. I don't know how many times I see my little brother, who lifts all the time, struggling for breath after running just half a mile with me.
When I was in high school I eliminated all soda from my diet, which was mostly diet sodas, and lost 20 pounds in two months. That was it, didn't change anything else. A friend of mine was on the Atkins diet with his parents around the same time and lost over 100 pounds but couldn't lose the final 10 that was his goal. He was like you Hurl, he would drink (diet) sodas out of boredom and it was okay on Atkins because they are all 0 calorie.
They do. 81.31 wins a season for the Orioles and 78.55 wins a season for the Jays. So you're basically talking a 3 win a season difference. Although the Blue Jays were an expansion franchise and the Orioles were an already established franchise when they moved the Baltimore.
They do! In those 21 years the Jays have won 1634 games and the Orioles have won 1584 which is 50 games less than the Jays. Also, the Jays have 2 WS championships under their belt in 38 years. The Orioles have 3 championships in the 61 years they have been in Baltimore.
If we do end up "trading" for DD I hope that Rogers has enough sense to let AA try to do the negotiation. I know that DD would be his boss but AA has shown that he is a good negotiator.
I disagree with you. The kid was 22 playing in the Majors. He has a strong minor league track record where he was playing against men closer to his age bracket. I'm not saying that he's gonna be a breakout star, but I think he has at least a possibility to be decent.
Derek Bell, Jose Cruz Jr., Glenallen Hill, Raul Mondesi, Cory Snyder (although he didn't play for the Jays very long), and Mark Whiten are just some of the few that are were pretty decent. I don't know if any of them would crack your top 10 though.
Chris Parmelee is a free agent. He seems to hit lefties well and can play first base and right field. Wonder if he'd take a minor league deal seeing as Smoak is penciled in as our first baseman.
I love Californication. It's so damn good. I think it's a little funny that whenever there is a sex scene it shows David Duchovny doing absolutely no work. I think the only scene he did was when he was drunk and knocked a painting off the wall.
Managers and executives don't typically get great players when compensation is needed. Farrell got Aviles, Theo got a relief pitcher. If Angelos does let him leave I can't imagine the O's get back more than maybe a 2nd or 3rd tier prospect. By the way, how much would it suck to be stuck in a job where you can't even take a promotion if it comes available?
