  1. The average age of our rotation in AAA is going to be older than our Major league rotation.
  2. I don't think a 2nd baseman needs to be super athletic to survive in the big leagues. As long as his contact is there and his defense is passable I don't think that people here would complain.
  3. How negative is the WARz for all the D'backs catcher position this year? Think they will be worse than JPA's #toptencatcher season?
  4. I'm just now getting a chance to watch this game now. Two things come to mind. First, Martin's pitch framing abilities are unreal. Second, three batters, two broken bats. wow.
  5. Oh Reyes.
  6. Martin is really working today.
  7. While watching the Cardinals/Orioles game last night I had the pleasure of educating my brother about JPA. He loved his 140K/18BB ratio during JPA's top 10 catcher season.
  8. Most expensive AAA rotation ever in that instance.
  9. He probably pivoted and his cleat got stuck in the grass and his momentum took him.
  10. I still think our lineup will have enough punch to finish ahead of the Rays.
  11. Oh. Than it couldn't have been Goins because his bunts end up in the air.
  12. I don't have twitter. Someone tell him next time to swing away dammit!
  13. I bet the bunting drill was being taught by Goins.
  14. So both Norris and Sanchez are probably starting now?
  15. If I remember correctly, Coco was the vain of our existence before this trade too. Didn't he pitch incredibly poorly leading up to it?
  16. I understand where you're coming from in saying that. Value wise we probably could have gotten a better player in return, but I think Happ turned out well. All those 1st round picks (other than Asher) haven't really amounted to much. All things considered I think we made out quite well in this trade.
  17. Chicago White Sox
  18. I just got MLB.TV and split the cost with my brother who I live with. I'm watching a Pirates/Blue Jays spring training game as I type this. I'm loving it so far. Has anyone had the issue of occasional bufferings/distorted screens? It's not a big deal as it has only happened a couple times I'm just curious. I'm streaming from my PS3.
  19. Look at that mane!
  20. I think the concern is that AA is done finding outfield options and if Saunders can't make it back in a month and Viciedo has even a decent spring that Viciedo will make the team and get overpaid to play a bad left field and then when Saunders returns, be useless off the bench because of his lack of defensive versatility (any position really).
  21. I'm surprised no one has created the SN AdamLindsmom to post on injury related threads.
  22. No no no no no no no. I'll cry.
  23. Based on what Santana has done in his past I don't think his agent did magic. It's not like this is guaranteed or anything. If he regains his prime form we got him at a bargain basement price.
  24. No Matt West on your list? Think of his beautiful locks!
  25. I think club house culture is important when building a team. Think about your work environment. If you enjoy it and it's an overall positive environment you'll be more productive. It's one of the reasons why companies like Google and Apple are such great places to work. If you hate your work environment your work will suffer.
