I think if MLB has a problem with different turfs they should decide on a standard one. It would be a real shame if all the money poured into the new turf goes to waste because it has to be replaced.
We're going to score a lot of runs this year. Martin only having 1 hit so far doesn't concern me much. Give them all a couple weeks to get it going.
Fun fact, as of right now Martin as the same amount of hits and steals.
This could quite possibly be the new "trade for borderline Type A free agents just to have them decline Arb" way of getting picks. Frankly I don't understand why teams shouldn't be able to trade draft picks anyway.
Don't know if it was posted yet but Ryan Webb was traded with a competitive balance pick to the Dodgers and then released. How do you think the Commissioner feels about big market teams essentially buying draft picks?
I like your sig at the bottom. I was explaining to my brother (Cardinals fan) what Sanchez is like as we were watching and his comment was "he can't find the strike zone." Made me think of that quote.
I noticed that a lot of us on the board like to keep up with former Jays. I figured this thread might streamline them.
For example: Top 10 catcher JPA released by the Orioles, and Brett Lawrie strikes out 4 times on 12 pitches.
I'd really like to see Castro and Osuna pitch more than just one inning if they are doing well. Both of them are starting pitchers and they have good stuff. Why limit them to 1 inning if they are doing well?
Let Cecil close and don't limit the young guys from keeping it rolling if they are doing well.
I was going through some of my baseball cards and found one of his autographed cards in there.
Then I was sad when I realized half the players in my Blue Jays collection are no longer Jays.
