It should be easy to get AAAA pitchers. We did, and that's why everyone is complaining about pitching.

Maybe the brass told him that he wasn't in their plans going forward and isn't really interested in continuing his career so he'll take the money on the DL.

Maybe Norris down to work on his control? Estrada to the rotation, and Albers to bitchwork role.

It has to be a pitcher. If it was Pompey because of performance our outfield is even more depleted with Bats not being 100%. The last few games we had DV and Goins in the outfield. If it was Travis to DL you would think Muni would be up.

I would think it's either Castro or Norris. I would think if it was Travis they would call up a position player. Although that hasn't stopped them before.

Neither. Pillar can hit the ball but his OBP is nearly identical to his average because he can't take a walk. Also, Blue Jays buntzzz. Whaaa?

Maybe the fact that he wasn't as highly touted is helping him. He is older, but he seems to be adjusting to the majors better than lets say Snider did.

Unless the Phillies pay for all of Papelbon they aren't getting anything for him. If they pay 75% they might get like a C prospect for him.

Hurl has stated several times that he just loves the way the Rays run their organization. If the Jays ran their organization the way the Rays do (prospect development, team friendly extensions to youthful players, trade when they become expensive to replenish the farm) I'm sure he would love the way the Jays run it. The Rays have accomplished so much with so little, and you have to admire that as a baseball fan.

I don't know. The only thing I could think of in that situation is maybe Daniels might try to get out of Choo's contract by getting Hamilton's shorter one?

I dunno. I can't imagine Choo just because the length of his contract. I would think that if the Angels were trying to get rid of Hamilton it would be more of a salary dump. But what do I know?
