    Moneyline has Jays at -144, Athletics +119. Might be a tough game. Lopez is having a decent season, and Oakland can hit as we saw last night

    Yea I'd rather see Jays target pitching over position players. Their lineup is 5th in team WAR due to elite defense. Whereas the pitching is 20th in team WAR :/. Francis/Green (-0.9, -0.6 WAR) have hurt them but it's not just that, it's that they don't really have the elite top end talent. A lot of average-ish pitchers which has kept them in games but I worry it won't be enough come playoffs

    The correlation between LA and actual OPS seems very weak this year. I do wonder how the LA narrative became so prevalant

    Yea I feel like too many fans hype up the Jays pitching to be way better than it actually is. Especially considering our elite defense. I guess we've always had slugging teams when competitive as opposed to pitching. So maybe that's why

    I think the game has to be considered official if it's called due to rain. It's only when the game is tied or the visiting team took the lead in the top of the inning that it's suspended Per https://www.mlb.com/glossary/rules/regulation-game

    I think people are frustrated because our face of the franchise is a himbo. But he's also very good at baseball and exciting to watch. We should be cheering him on.

    Vlad would be around 160 wRC+ with average luck. Peripherals are top 10, and that's where a top 10 hitter is atm. His walks are up as is his defense, I'm not worried tbh
