  1. Damn. That's not good to hear. At least Happ is starting to throw bullpen sessions. I'd try to keep him on the DL as long as possible until we need another starter either due to regression from Wang or Rogers or an injury.
  2. It all comes down to money. It's hard to judge any of these picks until we know what they sign for.
  3. http://i.imgur.com/y2SpJ1i.gif Full disclosure: I stole this off Reddit.
  4. Enjoying the new board so far. Tons more features and a lot fewer trolls. One feature I'd recommend people using is the "Thanks" feature. Instead of quoting a post and then typing "I agree" or "+1" you could simply save yourself time by using the "Thanks" feature. It conveys the same message, saves yourself some time, and doesn't clutter the board with multiple people making similar "+1" posts.
  5. I'm cautiously optimistic for a 2 game sweep. Game 1 Zito has developed quite the home/away splits his past few seasons. This year he has pitched 5 home games (hasn't given up more than a run in any of them) with only 2 road starts (couldn't make it past the 4th inning in either start). Pitching on the road against an AL team in a hitter's park spells disaster for him. Still, with the snail-paced start from the Jays you can't pencil in any W's just yet. Game 2 Vogelsong is off to a bad start but his peripherals are showing that he may be the victim of a lot of bad luck. Even so, as long as Morrow is healthy I like the matchup for us.
  6. Source?
  7. Posters are still blaming Murphy?
  8. How do you know that? Do you have trustworthy, inside sources? Also, it goes without saying that if things don't turn around "they're going to be looking" at the front office closer. AA and Beeston don't need to have a conversation to figure that out.
  9. Why not start Lincoln there instead?
  10. I'm hoping Rasmus has a huge year so AA can use him as a trade chip this upcoming offseason. We may not have a whole lot of wiggle room but with Gose waiting in the wings Rasmus could become a solid chip.
  11. Yeah I agree, Chappy. He needs to recover and the price would be cheap and we'd need to have a spot for him, etc.
  12. Thanks! Been damn busy traveling all across the U.S. lately but finally found the time to register.
  13. He'll be a free agent next year. Would be cool to see him in a Jays uni again.
  14. That's what I was thinking.
