    Yeah I don't mind the honesty at all. But I can't help but feel that Holand's dislike of Bautista is because of baseball's bullcrap "unwritten rules" which are total hogwash. He said he even liked him before the series.

    That's not true. None of my friends down here like the Blue Jays. Most of them think Bautista is awesome.

    Yes, it was easily worth it. He was in A-ball and if we left him as a starter we wouldn't have gotten anything out of him this year as he worked his way up to AAA. Instead we got a WAR and a half out of a reliever in what became our first AL East crown in over two decades.

    We can see what happens at the end of this year. I think it'd be a good time to get Bautista some work at 1B to see if he's serviceable there.

    If the first pitch tomorrow (Estrada to Escobar) isn't a changeup in the dirt something in my office will be thrown.

    I could see payroll expanding. Top 8 in attendance this year and we are making a pretty good playoff run. We were 10th in payroll coming in to this year off a season with pretty s*** attendance.
