Martin didn't show a whole lot of effort in Game 3 when he allowed Napoli to steal 2nd either. I think he's just worn down. He played a shitload of games this season. Need to cut it to 110-120 next year.

Merrit has thrown the ball over the middle of the plate as well but we aren't swinging at it. Indians are lighting up nearly every mistake Estrada has thrown. They are flat out beating our ass today. Still lots of time left but this isn't looking good boys.

We've had the lead for like a total of 6.5 innings the entire series. Not much to cheer for.

Lol yeah good point I worded that incorrectly. I meant market rate as set forth in the past for similar players. Beltre 2 for 36 and Beltran 3 for 45. I'd be comfortable with numbers like that although I think Bautista could push for more elsewhere and perhaps get a team to bite. -

I'd be all for bringing him back. Market rate is something like 2 years, 36 million though. Not sure if he'd be willing to do that. -

Yes. Sounds like Gibby is going to use the DH spot as a revolving door for pinch hitters throughout the game. -
I guess it's due to pinch hitting but man that could completely bite the Jays in the ass if Bautista f***s something up in the OF. Estrada is a flyball pitcher too.

What do we do with the lineup today? Lefty on the hill but he might only throw 2 or 3 innings. Miller probably throws 2 today as well. I don't think they have any other lefties. Do we set it up with Upton and Barney in there anyway?

I like it. This team was dead in the water this time yesterday. The guys aren't giving up and clearly played hard today. Donaldson, EE, etc. all showing some emotion and not giving up. They won today and it's given them some life. Talk s***. Play hard. Don't give up. -
Take each game one at a time and there are plenty of reasons to think we can win each one (Merrit, Tomlin and Kluber starting his 3rd game in 9 days). The fact that we have to win them all definitely puts Cleveland in the driver's seat but we aren't out of it by any stretch. Tomorrow's game with Miller and Allen fresh and ready to go has me pretty worried.
