    What do we do with the lineup today? Lefty on the hill but he might only throw 2 or 3 innings. Miller probably throws 2 today as well. I don't think they have any other lefties. Do we set it up with Upton and Barney in there anyway?

    I like it. This team was dead in the water this time yesterday. The guys aren't giving up and clearly played hard today. Donaldson, EE, etc. all showing some emotion and not giving up. They won today and it's given them some life. Talk s***. Play hard. Don't give up.

    Take each game one at a time and there are plenty of reasons to think we can win each one (Merrit, Tomlin and Kluber starting his 3rd game in 9 days). The fact that we have to win them all definitely puts Cleveland in the driver's seat but we aren't out of it by any stretch. Tomorrow's game with Miller and Allen fresh and ready to go has me pretty worried.

    Easier said than done. I'm sure hitters are trying that.

    Yeah I know we've got Bolsinger but that's about it, no?

    He's not bad. With Upton we've already got 2 #4 OFers though. Pompey could be another one. I'd prefer to see Zeke or Upton traded.

    Agreed on all fronts although I would take Dickey back if he'd be open to a Tim Wakefield circa-2010 role and would take the appropriate pay to do so. If anyone could debunk any reasons on why having a knuckleballer as your long reliever is a bad idea I would be completely open to that. We have a great starting five but we have almost nothing from 6 on. Dickey could provide some stability there.

    5. We win this game and everything opens right up for a Jays comeback. Cleveland starts two toilet pitchers and then throws Kluber on 3 days rest for the second consecutive time. I'm on team explosion. I'm most worried about today's game though.

    As I first read it I didn't think it was too bad but add it all up and it's not a good look for TO. The handshake/f*** you is pretty ridiculous. But I'd rather we have a bunch of goons who show up and cheer loud than the sparse crowds of yesteryear. I think the fans will get better on the whole as we continue to win.

    I agree. It's why I like Bautista.

    Yeah Gibbons will be back. FO's won't fire the manager because he's a buffer should the team start to suck and the fans call for heads to roll. I just hope they talk to him about allowing his starters to see the lineup for a 3rd time.

    Yeah the offense is most definitely at fault. He does make some dumb decisions that are most certainly magnified in huge games like this. He either doesn't know that certain starters of his really struggle against the lineup the third time though or he does know that and he chooses to risk it anyway for some reason that he'd have to explain.

    Yeah it's not a bad bunch of guys at all. Miller is out their dominating us and all he does is heap praise on his C. Nothing to be mad about in regards to them, they are just thumping us.

    Oh it could easily be worse. But I think Shapiro is smart enough to hire someone better.

    You can't let Stroman face the lineup for the 3rd time in a must win game.

    Oh for the love of god pinch run for Navarro. We've got a deep bench right now.

    A walk, a bloop and a pinch hit Navarro blast.

    Martin was completely overmatched there. He looked like a high school batter facing for the first time that one pitcher in the league who has 90 mph+ heat.

    That pitch was REALLY bad.

    Hey Martin is actually capable of throwing someone out. Never mind that it's only due to them coming off the bag.

    He might be out after coming off the bag but it's hard to tell from the replays.

    Yes they have. They are whipping us. What do they have 4 homers and we have 0? Can't think of many mistakes they have made while I can name a few from us.
