    That's a great idea. Dangle a starter along with Donaldson to maximize impact. We could even cover portions of the salary rest of the season.

    Devers, Groome and another prospect/piece would be quite the haul. The Mets could offer up Conforto and others. I think the package would be quite large. Frazier and Moustakas don't matter at all compared to Donaldson. Total zeros compared to him. Donaldson is a top 3 player and two postseasons runs with him is extremely valuable. MVP-caliber players rarely hit the market. When was the last time?

    I like this plan. I'd be interested to see what we could get for Donaldson though. If it's a massive haul I'd consider it. If it's a Roy Halladay type haul then forget it.

    Yeah would be nice if they would go with Barnes over Tepera.

    Luke Maile is my favorite player for at least this week. He's not good at all yet still represents a humongous upgrade.

    Basically an average defensive catcher who is a great framer would be a prime backup candidate. It's hard to know which minor league C's are good at framing though. Maile, from what I know, is good defensively and an average framer (he's got enough big league time to know that). Which makes him a god compared to Salty.

    Didn't matter he was still on pace for far worse than that even in limited time. That's how much he sucks.

    If Maile is replacement level and Salty is -1.5 WAR this is a huge improvement. It'd be the equivalent of calling up a real solid 2 WAR prospect to replace Zeke. That's how bad Salty is.

    Yeah I watched until late then I got home and saw they were down still and decided to watch some of the Draft too.

    Well that inning went about as well as we could hope. 3 run homer followed by a Zero from Lawrence. Back in this one.

    Keep in mind we will have some really good pinch hitters late in the game. This is actually the first game all season where we have a good bench. lol
