  1. Yeah I think this is where the deals are to be had and it's where we can most effectively improve the team to try and win the division again. Yanks and Dodgers have full rotations and probably won't be as big of factors as they normally are too. I'd like to get Bieber back. He's a control/spin merchant and while he was able to avoid walks I think he left too many cookies over the plate and that hopefully corrects itself in Year 2 of post-TJS. If you sign him and add another one, you've really got a good shot to win the division again. YeSavage Gausman Bieber FA/Trade but swing bigger than Bassitt Berrios/Lauer
  2. Yeah this all so true So close and to have so many improbable things happen in the final innings 32 years since the last one and there’s no telling if we’ll ever be back you kind of just have to realize it’s sports and distance yourself from it all because this is about as dark as it gets as a fan it's devastating
  3. Moving Freeman back to the 3 spot is a smart move for the Dodgers. Keeping him and Ohtani close together makes it tough to pitch around Ohtani with a righty reliever. That said, the 4–9 portion of their lineup looks rough. If we can contain the top three, Gaus and the bullpen should be able to keep their offense in check.
  4. Yamamoto didn't really get to us, he just got lucky I expect Round 2 will be different
  5. Even if he's just mid they are going to push him through the lineup 3x. If he's doing pretty well he's going 4x through. Jays will get to him eventually.
  6. Imagine the ad revenue from the old broken site of a last placed team compared to the newly revamped site of a team on the verge of a World Series Brock knows business and I would like some of his stock tips
  7. Fangraphs' odds on tonight's game are 55.8%-44.2% for the Dodgers. I'm pretty sure that this is the highest odds they've given the Jays all series. As for the series, they have the Jays winning 2 out of 3 times.
  8. It truly is amazing at how garbage all of our division rivals stadium's are: Yankees have a little league right field that they fill with a bunch of fat, foul-mouthed New Yorkers who think screaming at bullpen moves equals ball knowledge. Red Sox play in an old dump with the Green Monster in right (kinda cool I guess) but that stupid pesky pole in RF Orioles move the left field fence in or out each year depending on how many righties they have in their lineup The roof flew off their dump of a stadium so they play in a minor league park with the same joke dimensions as the Yankees
  9. The lineup for Game 6 is going to look the best it has in nearly 2 months. Springer will be back and Bo is rounding into form after getting a few games under his belt. Springer Lukes (L) Vlad Jr. Bo Varsho (L) Kirk Barger (L) Clement Gimenez (L)
  10. I am officially OUT on all Japanese players until further notice. The Dodgers can hand select whatever Japanese players they want for 50 cents on the dollar. So if LA doesn't choose this guy then we probably don't want him anyway.
  11. Schneider's homer was a home run in 24/30 ballparks. Snell is acting like it was a Yankee Stadium special or something. He gave up 10 ER in his two World Series starts and got the L in both. He was a bum and he should feel bad about his performance, not cast it aside as bad luck. Dude stole $40 million from the Dodgers this year.
  12. This series ain't over though. Yamamoto has been dealing, though I suspect we will play much better this time around. We saw him once this series and we have a whole offday to prepare at home. Get the trajekt machine out and get ready for him. They are going to ride him 3 times through the lineup almost no matter what because their bullpen sucks so bad.
  13. Lol what a loser. Mr. 40 Million Dollar Man can complain about luck all he wants but he got outpitched badly by a rookie making his 9th career big league start. Mookie also had a TERRIBLE post game interview where he looked completely defeated. Freeman had a great post-game interview but most of the team seems really flat and dejected. They are the complete opposite of the Toronto Blue Jays who never get down no matter what happens. Need to step on their necks in Game 6 and end it.
  14. Alex Call who has no business starting a WS game, zombie Kike Hernandez who should have been out of the league years ago (in CF!!), and Teoscar Hernandez who we all know sucks out in the field The hits will fall, just get the ball into play
  15. I think the Dodgers feel that YeSavage is actually better vs. LHP bc of the splitter. That's why they moved Muncy down and why Edman bats righty against him, despite being a switch hitter. Totally agree on them moving Freeman down though. His splits are small anyway and the guy always has good ABs. Moving him and Ohtani further apart makes it a little easier to navigate with our righties who might be able to pitch around both Ohtani and Freeman now.
  16. Ross Atkins would get burned alive if the team was healthy and started Alex Call in LF and Kike Hernandez in CF in a pivotal World Series game. These guys are scrubs. Get the ball to the outfield and the hits will fall.
