  1. Kiermaier has out hit Bellinger by quite a bit the past two years....he's also the superior defender and baserunner compared to the other two as well.
  2. Are you ok with Bellinger as a starter? But not Gallo or KK?
  3. Gallo has been worth almost 7 times the amount of Bellinger in terms of WAR over the past two years. Kiermaier has been worth almost 5 times as much in that same span. Just wanted to point that out before anyone starts thumbing their nose at Gallo or KK.
  4. On first glance it kind of looks like the Angels defense is pretty atrocious as well. Rendon, Urshela, Rengifo infield. Ward-Trout-Renfroe outfield. Rookie Catcher.
  5. Well if Urshela, Renfroe and O'Hoppe soak up most of those ABs that should help. Problem is someone will end up getting hurt and they are razor thin after the 1-9 so it will likely be more of the same.
  6. Yeah I remember that lol. It probably is a trap but the 1-9 and the 1-5 looks pretty good. Going to need to knock the rest of the offseason out of the park but if they do they could be WC3 contenders. *but probably will finish with 72 wins*
  7. It's easy to hate on the Angels but could they in fact be decent this year? 1-9 looks good. Rotation looks fine as well. Bench and bullpen stink but there's plenty of time. I don't think there's much help in the upper minors either.
  8. Jansen Fanboys reading this tweet lmao
  9. If Kirk gets traded and the return is fair I'm all for it Jonny Boy. Unlike you Jansen Fanboys I just want what is best for the TEAM. I don't oddly devote myself to one good but incredibly flawed player while actively rooting that the team trade 23 year old silver sluggers or the #1 prospect in all of baseball like you guys do.
  10. Looks like the Jansen Fanboys have got their panties in a bunch tonight lol In a sea of endless Jansen Fanboy posts some sensible takes like mine might come across like I just "LOVE" Kirk and "HATE" Jansen. But if all you Jansen Fanboys upgraded your eyeglass prescriptions to the same level as your hero you would see that I'm just posting FACTS. Kirk is a 23 year old silver slugger whose comparables are all HoFers. That's a fact. Danny Jansen gets hurt multiple times every year. That's also a fact. Here's a few more facts for you: I don't think the D-Bags need a C as much as you guys hope (and I certainly wouldn't be overpaying for Kirk if I were running that team) and I've also come up with some perfect trade scenarios involving Jansen that get us a backend SP and ace reliever. But of course you fanboys are all as blind as Jansen himself so you don't see it. Now excuse me while I go and win yet another Fall Darts League Championship and you guys can get back to arguing about your dream lineup of Crag Biggio's son at leadoff, Cody Bellinger hitting 2nd and Danny Jansen batting cleanup lmao
  11. Funny you mention autographs, my youngest is 8 now I think but I haven't seen him since before the pandemic. The last I saw the littlest Terminator was actually when I took him to the Jays game and we got a couple of autographs from Vlad Jr.! Sold those babies on Ebay for 100 bucks a pop just a couple of days later. I tried to take Jr. to the game next week but his mom wouldn't let me bc she was mad that HE wandered off for a couple of hours after the game started. But it wasn't my fault, I went to get another round of beers and he was gone. He was fine though he was just chilling with security when I went and checked after the game. But anyway, it was a great day. We got the autographs and the roof was open and the Jays won after a Billy McKinney walk off. Good times.
  12. I bet should could strike Cody Bellinger out
  13. Here we go again lol
  14. I wouldn't mind if they sign him. I think L54 said we should offer him 10 mil and if he rejects it who cares, just move on and find someone else and that sounds like a good plan to me.
  15. You have to massage the projection systems when true talent changes occur. For example, if a pitcher has a new effective pitch he throws 30% of the time his true talent has changed and one should consider that the projections rate him too low. Another example is when a stoner CF/1B hybrid player has an MVP level season and then his shoulder turns into hamburger meat and he all of the sudden looks like Bradley Zimmer out there for a couple years running. In that case you'll want to be skeptical that the projection systems are factoring in the hamburger meat shoulder appropriately.
  16. I thought the Jansen fanboys and the Craig Biggio's Son fanboys were bad enough. But the Bellinger fanboys are a new low for BJMB.
  17. This guy is living the dream.
  18. Throw the projections out the window. He's had a talent change due to injury issues. Also, how much time does he need to get over his health issues?
  19. I'm not saying I'd rather have Zimmer, far from it. But Bellinger truly has been an absolute garbage player the past two seasons.
  20. I’m not kidding you but even at age 62 I seriously think I could strike Cody Bellinger out. His shoulder is hamburger meat at this point and he sucks. Worst big leaguer I’ve ever seen and that’s saying something because I went to all 81 games in the inaugural season back in ‘77. But this is how I’d attack him. After a little chin music to back him off the plate I’d paint the outside corner with a couple of good old fashioned Terminator curveballs to get the count to 1-2. (I’m a natural righty but I actually throw harder with my left these days.) Then it’d be time for some high heat to get the K. Bye bye Bellinger! Go grab some pine lol
  21. “n0body is a fAn8b0y lulz” Followed up by two paragraphs of unbridled adoration for Cody Bellinger, a guy who hasn’t been good in years
