    KK going to teach us how to play at the Trop. Jays win tonight on their way to a 3-1 series win.

    One thing to consider is that Belt is likely a component of the Varsho for Moreno and Gurriel trade. Gurriel has one year and about 6 mil left on his deal and he was going to be getting a lot of his PT at DH. The Jays wanted to get more left-handed so they turned around and gave Belt about 9 mil. So the trade is more like Moreno, Gurriel and the 3 mil bucks they would have saved for Varsho and Belt. I'm not sure that Belt is going to help this make look any better though lol. But he has been improving this month.

    Yeah what Clement is doing is interesting and Lopez has sucked so bad this year. I don't know what his deal is. But about 140 AAA ABs ago, Lopez was a real prospect having a good year and Clement was a nobody. Maybe Clement would have been the better choice but like you said 40 man roster considerations probably played a role. Regardless, I hope they give Lopez the lion's share of the bench ABs to see what he's got.

    So you're telling me that when Wilner had his radio show where the whole schtick was to have dipshit casuals with double digit IQs call in so Wilner could pummel them on air, you actually sided with the arguments of the double digit IQ fans? lol

    Yeah that makes sense. But it's not a foregone conclusion that every prospect pans out or that they effectively build a rotation. They basically have a couple of depth arms and a good prospect who is no guarantee to pan out (Rodriguez). If Rodriguez pans out they still need 3 to 4 more starters. If he doesn't pan out they basically need 5.

    That's my point. Everyone wants to crown the Orioles as the new titans of the division but they swept us while throwing a struggling rookie and two garbage pitchers at us while batting Adam Frazier 5th. Are they really that good or did we just suck?

    We got boat raced by Kyle Gibson, a struggling rookie and Dean Kremer. Are you guys tipping your caps to Baltimore and admitting they have the better team or is it more of a situation where the Jays sucked ass?

    Yeah it's hard to see where Atkins is the one firing Schneider. The two are linked at this point. I guess it could be a hail mary play by Atkins where in order to save his own job he rolls the dice by firing Schneider and hoping for a deep playoff run by Mattingly. So maybe he could as a desperation move? But if he does he's basically signaling his own demise.
