    Bo got his mini-extension so I'm not expecting much there for now. He just seems less likely to sign one to me for some reason as well. But All is Quiet on the Extend Vlad Jr. Front. I wonder if all these 11 year deals has made an extension less desirable for the team? I was hoping an Austin Riley like extension (10 years and 212M) would materialize but prices might have gone up. Devers had one more year of service time and signed for 10 years 313 mil. It would probably take something between the two to get it done right now?

    Love the aggressive ranking with Orelvis considering this is a fantasy writeup. The bar to be fantasy relevant is so much higher than being big league relevant and he has a chance to be a 30 homer guy with SS eligibility.

    Good outing by Thompson. Got 5 swing and misses that inning which is probably approaching a record for him. He needed that.

    This is the guy Schneider just HAD to get into the game over Gausman in the playoffs last year. I hate Mayza and hope they cut him. I can't stand seeing his stupid face on my TV.

    Richards also has reverse splits so he's tougher on lefties despite throwing right handed. Lefties have a tough time getting extra bases off of him. For a team short on LHP in the pen that gives him slightly more value to us as well.

    JaysAllMighty loves watching the same amount of baseball only with 30 extra minutes of guys adjusting their jockstraps.

    Really liking Sportsnet's way of presenting the pitch clock. They don't even show it until it gets to 6 seconds and it's a small part of the scorebug. You don't even notice it or the overall change that much. It was dumb of MLB to have the first game showing it with a GIANT clock counting down right behind the batter. It was so jarring that it spooked a lot of fans. Add in the fact that it had a major impact with the count full and the bases loaded in the 9th and it was a pretty bad debut. In the end it won't really matter but I think the way Sportsnet is handling it is a good way for all broadcasts to do it.
