  1. Great day for all the Orioles fanboys of the board. If the Jays lose they get to celebrate. If the Jays win they also get to celebrate.
  2. Dammit I really hate Adam Frazier
  3. Jansen a good guy to have up in a sac fly scenario.
  4. Attaboy Varsho. This Kramer guy sucks and he has a ponytail, let's hang a crooked number on him and get into the bullpen on Game 1.
  5. Yeah they get 3 days on Cimber. Can they option Hatch at that point? Or does Francis have to be the one to be optioned back because of the 10 day rule? Or can they technically use Belt's IL stint as the way to recall Francis? Or does it have to be a hitter for him?
  6. Everyone is either out committing crimes or is too afraid to leave their homes.
  7. Got a run and made Kramer throw 22 pitches or whatever. I'll take it.
  8. Nice AB by Vlad.
  9. Gotta cash this leadoff double in. Come on guys.
  10. Shoutout to Mrs. Cimber for the assist!
  11. They seem to like to give the starters an extra day when they can. Also, Francis is already back as they are allowed to bring someone back sooner if another player hits the IL.
  12. Seems like they might have been able to avoid the IL with Belt but this way they can bring Francis back and just make sure Belt's hammy is fully healed before bringing him back.
  13. You were right. Francis is back.
  14. Not sure how good he'd be with only 2 pitches.
  15. Looks like Spanky woke up on the wrong side of the bed this afternoon lol
  16. A shooting did in fact happen. Sounds like the shooter himself was shot by someone and they aren't sure who yet. Can confirm that it wasn't me as I avoided downtown thankfully. I went to my buddy's house up in a northern suburb and the local dives were packed. Took an uber home after the bars closed but luckily none of the downtown fiasco spilled my way. The rest of the night I heard a lot of what I *think* were fireworks last night but otherwise it was fairly quiet in my neck of the woods.
  17. The plan was awesome last game except for the use of Cimber. -Richards as the opener for a maximum of one time through the lineup -They don't have to go straight to Francis, if they have lefties in the lineup it's best to use Mayza early in the game because they won't pinch hit. But if they do then they'll just be screwing themselves later on when our right handed setup men come into the game. -Then go to Francis -Pearson could also do two innings in one of these games But that's a ton of bullpen usage and they can't rely on Richards going 3 innings every time. They really need the starters to eat more innings if they keep planning on doing this or they are going to have to let Francis go 4-5 innings. Hopefully they start letting Francis do that as he gets stretched out more after coming back from injury. That was only his 4th or 5th appearance all year.
  18. So what are we going to do for the next bullpen game? I guess use the same plan as last time with Richards but we won't have Francis. So I guess Hatch or White are going to have to go multiple innings? Once Francis is back it would seem like this plan could work ok moving forward but one of them is going to have to be able to pitch the other days or else Francis is going to have to keep being optioned for a fresh arm.
  19. I would definitely do it. It's hard enough for these prospects to pan out into viable big leaguers, it's even harder for them to become fantasy relevant in a 12 teamer. If you look at the waiver wire it's probably filled with some damn good MLB players who were once top 100 prospects as well. McLain, Jones and Gavin Williams (unlikely to become an ace) are nice prospects but in order to make you regret it they've got to hit on the high end of their projections. Cole is a stud and even if he takes a step back in the coming years (he's still only 32) he's still going to be a very good fantasy player.
  20. How many team league is it?
  21. The average will drop but he hits the piss out of the ball, has a good launch angle for AVG and Coors will pump his average up to acceptable levels despite a high K rate (which should come down a little). He's never been much of a stolen base threat in the minors but his sprint speed shows he's fast enough to do it effectively. There is certainly risk the Rockies start platooning him or even benching him but if Dick Monfort saw those two mammoth homers this past weekend there is a good chance he'll be in the lineup a lot.
  22. Speaking of Rowdy that trade is looking pretty solid for us these days.
