Haha, not anymore. A couple years ago when Manning was a beast (I think it was his first year in Denver after the surgery?) and Denver's defense was s*** I would lay $1K-$2K on the over around 55ish and have it covered every game by the third quarter. Turned $1,500 into $10,000 by our Thanksgiving that year. Took half that money out then promptly blew the rest as they learned how to play d for a few weeks. Pretty sure I have a losing record on sports capping outside of those several magical weeks.
Now I just play for a few hundred. But that game would have taken me down quite a bit of my small payroll. Recovered after a good week last week, but just to show you that I have learned nothing, I'm betting more than I should on the Bears +7 tonight and Texas/Iowa St under 62 in CFB care of one of the guys I tail. This guy is winning at a 66% clip so far this year and he bets on A LOT of games, like over 30 a week. Dunno how the hell he does it. His WORST week so far this year is 28-17 lol. I'd love to share the link but the last time I did that on the MLB betting thread my guy turned to s*** chasing the Dodgers during their big losing streak. So f*** you guys, I'm keeping this one to myself.
Bears game, I think GB will have it brutally tough for two back-to-back home games. SNF followed by TNF with a 30 degree Fahrenheit difference. Bears had a tough game as well but come in as the +7 divisional underdogs. Tough to lay a TD on that. I'll probably go Bears ML as well and live bet GB for plus odds if it goes like the Cincy game.
Ultimately though this stuff is just to distract me until my stocks come back from the gutter lol. When my stocks go well, I conveniently forget about sports capping and the hundreds I lose/make.
