Doc as a player kept to himself and focused on his game, which was absolutely understandable....but the thought of him going to spring training or working with the likes of drabek, hutch, stroman, sanchez, romero...now as a retired player imparting some knowledge...you don't want him to undermine the pitching coaches on the jays....but surely he could supplement some of his knowledge and experience to what the staff is already doing with the players....it seems like a rather exciting proposition having doc back with the jays...
