what are you talking about that was a close play...he was being aggressive...Reyes did nothing wrong there. That play was nothing like the one where he got caught at first a few games ago which is a play he should have been benched for.

Francisco has an .808 OBP with 33 RBI in less than 200 plate appearances. Does he strike out a ton? Of course. Will he continue this downward spiral? Time will tell. This could be a cold stretch or something worse. On the totality of his time with the Jays has he been a scrub...absolutely not. He was taking walks and getting into better counts earlier and pitchers make mistakes. Some players hit mistakes for singles...others hit doubles and homers. I completely agree with not giving up on Francisco mostly because I'm far more patient than you. I am definitely concerned and could certainly change my opinion in a few weeks....but it's too early to get rid of him now imo.

well I was too lazy to look it up, but I couldn't imagine that on any level that one could say that Happ has outperformed Dickey. Dickey has been a disappointment, but he hasn't been utterly terrible. Hopefully he can continue to pitch well the rest of the way and be a solid number 3 for us. -

Exactly how has Happ outpitched Dickey this year...give me a break. Dickey is trending in the right direction. He's posted a 3.56 ERA over his last 10. His innings are down a bit this year, but still a decent amount pitched. A 3.86 ERA is not a number 6 on most teams. I'm sure you jerk off to fangraphs WAR, but the reality is once you get past the first 40 pitchers there differences start to become negligible. One more good start by dickey and he's jump up 15 to 20 spots on your sacred WAR table. -

So why exactly would you omit a month. If someone said," You take away april's numbers from lawrie and his numbers look amazing." You'd call a guy out for cherry picking statistics...you take the season in its entirety.
