Dickey was 4th in innings pitched last year, 2nd the year before that. He's down the list this year, but still 27th. He's not below average in terms of innings pitched. That's just wrong.
People need to label him a "front line starter". He isn't a front line starter, but he's still a quality starter. He's got a 4.04 ERA. I still think going to post a sub 4 ERA and he's going to eat innings. Trading Dickey makes zero sense. Dickey is a solid number 3 eating innings and will post a 3.8 ERA. He's also being paid like a number 3, so get over the trade we made to get him and value him for the asset he is. We need to be trading for a number 1, not giving away a number 3.
