  1. he hasn't had any work lately...would rather see sanchez myself, but I could see them trying to get casey some work.
  2. reyes doesn't have to make that play when he's hitting the way he has been the last 10
  3. wow that was actually a really nice hit by gose...tough pitch
  4. Yankees vs texas....great pitching or terrible hitting?
  5. that pitch papi hit out wasn't the worst pitch in the world...papi is a good hitter. McGowan did what he was suppose to challenge the hitters. The fastball was up a bit but on the outer half of the plate. Most of McGowan's homers have been on hanging sliders...getting beat by a great hitter when you are up on a fastball is not the worst thing in the world.
  6. man....kawa just get's all 110 pounds of him into those long throws from 3rd..lol
  7. ooh...f*** bautista with 2 line drive hits.....welcome back
  8. missed most of this game...just read the beginning of the game thread...bitching about Navarro, bitching about reyes, complaining about melky and McGowan......latter part of the game thread...nice bomb reyes...at a boy Navarro 2 run homer....melky 2 for 3...McGowan 2 strikeouts..lol Classic game day thread.
  9. footy starts in less than a month...
  10. This team is missing a bunch of players....It's not just Lind, EE, Lawrie and Morrow....we're also missing bautista, rasmus, Francisco. These guys are feeling the pressure and I'm not totally convinced bautista has been entirely healthy. Bautista has hit less than .200 with no home runs his last 12 or 13 games. Rasmus just marginally better with one home run and hitting just over the mendosa line. Francisco has hit just above .200 as well with a home run. We have no middle of the order bats right now. Is baustista's play sustainable? No. He's too good a player to play this bad. Rasmus will get hot too. EE will return, Lawrie will get back, lind will be back. All three are back to doing baseball drills. We have another 10 days to two weeks and we'll get them back, but can we play anywhere close to .500 to stay in it...we'll see.
  11. yeah...buehrle's been god awful this year. Give me a break. Hutch is going to be fine. He's a young player. Buehrle's been a pro all year and earned every dollar he's being paid.
  12. I love how you don't post on the main threads on this board for several weeks while the jays are winning and now you're posting non stop..lol. We should just hire you to replace AA.
  13. it's only a matter of time for you to make your next doomsday prediction about the jays? Perhaps seconds.
  14. that's because he could field the ball quicker than lewis..lol
  15. Roy Halladay did not have a big stride and finished high and his career turned out okay. His arm slot was lower than sanchez, but I haven't seen sanchez lately. I think you're oversimplifying how to consistently hit your release point. Anyways....Sanchez had another inning today. 1 hit no runs, no walks no strikeouts. A ground ball single followed by another groundball that ended up in a double play and a pop up...12 pitches 7 strikes.
  16. did you miss the last 2 seasons of watching JPA with the jays....the odds of a disaster were extremely low.
