  1. Rowdy can go shower. Even if we need him to pinch hit, there's no one to come play for him.
  2. Trade Shaw, Groshans and a couple either pieces for Boegarts.
  3. Trading a guy with the 5th highest exit velocity in the entire league is a ballsy move. You need to be pretty sure about what you're getting back. I wouldn't trade Plesac for Hernandez.
  4. We should be bold and trade for Boegarts
  5. So you're buying into Plesac's hot start, but not Teoscar's?
  6. Both are free agents at the end of the year. The angels aren't making the post season. They may want a bit more or different pieces, but they aren't going to get a whole lot for this pair. I'd rather target Boegarts and give up more to get a greater impact.
  7. You didn't actually touch on any of the things you would actually use to compare swings. Posture, the angles created, shoulder turn, swing path. Papi had a much larger leg kick and his hands dipped a bit lower before bringing them up, but the two both have a very similar inside out uppercut swing. The swing path is very similar. Rowdy's is a bit more compact. Rowdy is herky jerky...give me a break.
  8. I tend to agree...Clevinger or Lynn. Bundy is intriguing. Has he really turned a corner. We are down to 3 starters. We need someone!
  9. So what's Lance Lynn going to cost seeing as how he is under control next year for 9.3 mil?
  10. Nelson Cruz is the ageless wonder. He leads the league with a 196 wRC+. He's absolutely amazing.
  11. A Joey Murray or a Patrick Murphy might be the answer for a spot start. Teams won't have any information. I'm assuming they are stretched out and can give 5 innings unless they run in to trouble. The bullpen is taxed enough. Or they could trade for Trevor Bauer and start him. Any of those options would be fine..lol
  12. Other than the fact that we have no one to start against Eovaldi, this team is looking pretty good! I wonder how we're going to tackle that little issue.
  13. Yes...this game had no stress at all. I'll give it to you. You were right. We had this one in the bag!
  14. Isn't Giles at Rochester right now? He could be back soon.
  15. rookie aggression....it's a theme this year. Too bad, we should still be up by 2.
  16. Ok.....Romano time....We can't even pinch it for Panik or espinal......aaahh..
  17. It's been 3...bring in Bass...oh he's got his feet up....not warming up...scratch that.
  18. dolis hasn't pitched the last 2 days....this was his turn...lol
  19. bass never pitched yesterday. I don't know why he wouldn't be available.
  20. Hatch, Bass, Romano. Keep it simple.
  21. knock on wood....what are you saying...we're playing the Rays. It's a long ways from over.
