  1. Lourdes faked the 3rd base coach out with his slow running thinking the runner would score easily.
  2. honestly....I was convinced that lineup was a misprint......Charlie is almost daring to get fired.
  3. He has to be...even looking at career numbers which is pretty dumb because of small sample sizes jansen is 0 for 6 with walk. Biggio is 5 for 12 with a walk and a homer for a 1.128 OPS....ridiculous.
  4. I'm going to give charlie the benefit of the doubt. That has to be a typo or a mistake. No one could be that stupid.
  5. Let's be bold and go get Degrom. I know. That will never happen.
  6. What don't you agree with? Do you think Thornton is going to be a good starter, or is Borucki incapable of being a starter. I acknowledge their are some injury concerns.
  7. So I read Giles is throwing from 120 feet now, set to do a rehab in Rochester. The swelling from Bo's knee is gone. Things are turning around!
  8. We're in a playoff spot! Happy Birthday Cecil! Hope you have a great rest of your day! Let's go Flames!
  9. Rowdy's struck out 13.8% of the time this year and he just hit a ball 117.6 MPH. He's a good hitter. People just need to realize this sooner or later.
  10. Rowdy coming through in the clutch! Who closes this out?
  11. Panik should get the little league take sign until there's 2 strikes.
  12. It's crossed my mind that maybe our eggs should be in the JT Realmuto basket. I'm not sure what kind of offers he will get though.
  13. rally caps....turn em inside out...let's go!
  14. Yeah..outfield defense isn't exactly our strong suit as a team..lol
  15. I said before the season started that Borucki should start. While Borucki has yet to fail as a starter, Thornton is well on his way to failing.
  16. get him out please.
  17. Thornton is a future reliever. I think he could be a good reliever.
  18. I know Thorton has had some tough luck this inning, but I still don't think he's a good starter.
  19. Borucki doesn't believe that. He's said many times he views himself as a starter and in July Montoyo said the Jays view him as a starter. This isn't a normal year. The best free agent reliever last year just got 3 and 39. We're debating whether or not to give Giles 3 and 30. We just gave Roark a number 5 innings eater 2 and 24. Why would Borucki not want to be a starter? Batters are batting .080 against him this year, he's struck out 14 batters in 7.2 innings. He's given up a couple more walks than you'd like, but his breaking ball is far better than it was in 2018 when he put up a 3.8 FIP. His fastball is a lot better than it was in 2018 when he put up a 3.8 FIP. His best pitch in 2018 was his change up. When you have 3 good pitches, how can you not consider him for a starting position? This debate is far from over. You might not think he's good enough to be a starter. I completely disagree. He's 26 years old, not 30. I hope he's given every opportunity to start next year. You can always put him back in the pen. He's never failed as a starter.
  20. We finally won one, and the orioles handed it to us, but we should have won it in regulation. Whatever...we won.
  21. Props to Hernandez. After his defensive gaff the other day, that throw was released quick and hard right on line. That allowed us to get dwight smith jr.
  22. I would have used Teoscar to pinch hit. When you have 2 in scoring position, you have to go for offense.
  23. come on bass.....bring it home
