  1. Bet the Jays now to win the division and win the World Series!
  2. If the Jays didn't start Fluharty as an opener, they could have used him instead of Little!
  3. You took over for me. I was the one they were venting at like two-three years ago lol.
  4. It’s still too early for all the doom and gloom. The Jays just need to take the next two against the White Sox and head into the Dodgers series at 6–3. As for the lineup, it could become a concern later if a few things all go wrong at once - Vladdy not showing much power, Barger hitting a sophomore slump, Springer regressing, or key injuries to guys like Varsho or Kirk. But that’s basically a worst-case scenario across the board. It’s still early, and the lineup needs some time to settle in and start clicking on all cylinders.
  5. I dropped Paul Skenes in fantasy baseball. Picked up Joe Boyle.
  6. Jays schedule gets tougher after with the Dodgers coming to town. Important they head into that series with some momentum and playing well.
  7. Let’s just hope the Jays don’t miss out on the division by 1 game haha. But yeah agreed a lot of baseball left.
  8. I bet the Jays when they were down 3-1 and paying 4 to 1 odds. Glad I cashed out after they tied it.
  9. 2 years around $20-25M AAV I think is the sweet spot. Don't think you need to paying Gausman anything more than $25M per season.
  10. Grant Taylor I remember was pretty good out of the pen last season.
  11. Yeah I also believe the Jays weren't too interested in bringing him back unless it was on their terms (moving to second base and not crazy AAV). If they really wanted to bring Bo back, he would have been signed in November.
  12. Would be an interesting study or review over the last 2 or so decades. Some top guys seem to succeed. Look at Gausman when he came to Toronto or even when Donaldson was traded to the Jays. But yeah there are players who also struggle in their first year on a new team.
  13. Dodgers are also 4-2 and have been struggling offensively as a group just like the Jays. It's still early and there is no need to hit the panic button. Ohtani, the 2025 NL MVP Champ, also has 0 HR and 0 RBI so far in 6 games.
  14. I'll go with Heineman.
  15. It was pretty ugly. They were kicking the ball around all over the place.
  16. Even Kurtz missed a big challenge which would have been ball 4 for him, instead of strike 3. Thought he was asleep not challenging that in that critical moment late in the game.
  17. Jordan Romano with two appearances in the 9th inning. Picked up the save on Opening Day and pitched a clean 9th last night with 2 K's. Nice to see! Hopefully he could also have a bounce back season for the Angels!
