  1. Rays call-up Chandler Simpson. Next Billy Hamilton or can he actually hit and get on-base?
  2. D'Backs trailing 7-2 and post up a 10-run inning in the top of the 8th to take a 12-7 lead. Cubs in the bottom of the 8th have scored 6 runs and now 13-11 currently lol.
  3. Alex Verdugo called up by the Braves haha. Bryan De La Cruz sent down.
  4. Yeah if I'm Gunnar or Rutchman, would be super pissed and callout the FO.
  5. Only guy that has really worked out has been Tyler O'Neill. Contract isn't that bad actually if he stays healthy. Rest of the moves: - Morton looks toast. - Sugano has been lucky: his ERA will spike soon. - Kittredge out until end of May lol. But they were worried about Hoffman haha. - overpaid for Gary Sanchez as a backup catcher/DH - Gibson at $5M is decent for a veteran innings eater. - Laureano offensively has struggled in the early going but isn't bad to have around as a 4th outfielder. They should have targeted more elite talent to build around the core. Instead they did waste money on fringe/average guys more than anything.
  6. Names? Like how you always asked me last season lol. Hypocrite.
  7. Thanks will check SeatGeek out next time. I was shocked to see the low inventory for a Wednesday afternoon game on StubHub. Ended up purchasing a single ticket from Vivid Seats.
  8. Is StubHub the official ticket resale market for MLB? Checked tickets for the game, and not many are available as I recall before. More available on the Jays official site, but ticket prices are 😱
  9. Yeah great pitchers duel for the first four innings. Gausman looked great with swing & miss stuff. Great big inning by the Jays in that 5th inning to score 5 runs. Thanks to the long ball, which is what this lineup needs more of! We saw it make a difference tonight. Gave the bullpen some cushion as well. If the Jays were just scratching singles, likely a 4-3 or 3-2 win or game could have been tied.
  10. Love it even more after Spanky picked him up in the DDL haha
  11. I mean when a lineup is losing three key players like Acuna, Ozuna and Profar. At least the Braves still have a middle-of-the-order with Riley and Olson. You take Vladdy and Santander out of the lineup, looks even worse lol.
  12. Imagine both Vladdy and Santander missing from the lineup. Sure it would be ass as well lol.
  13. Yeah its not that strong of a bench at the moment. Drake Baldwin is their No. 1 prospect. A tandem of Murphy & Baldwin behind the plate is pretty good. Nick Allen was a bench guy but all of a sudden took over the starting shortstop gig since Arcia sucks haha. Kelenic should be a 4th OF when everyone is healthy, and yeah he's still young enough where you hope he can figure things out. Eli White and De La Cruz both suck and are going to hurt you more than help when they're in the starting lineup.
  14. I put $5 on Vlad to hit a HR tonight, same with Barger. Should have done Taters and Roden instead lol.
  15. Yeah Atlanta missing Acuna, Ozuna and with Profar being suspended, those are big bats missed. Instead, they're starting Kelenic, Eli White and De La Cruz. Imagine the Jays without Vladdy, and Santander in a series. Nick Allen actually looks like he's overtook Arcia's job at shortstop haha. Still no excuse for the awful start they've had.
  16. So you're saying bet the Yankees when at home haha.
  17. 100% agreed. We saw last night how the HR was the difference for the Braves and changed the outlook of the game with just a couple of big swings. Jays really need Vladdy, Santander and Bo to get going power wise. Embarrassing that there is only 1 HR combined between your top 3 hitters in the lineup. Gotta hope something changes internally with their approach and that this front office closer to the trade deadline addresses the lack of power in this lineup if this team is in the playoff hunt.
  18. Easton Lucas ERA now sits at 4.80 and his FIP is 5.14.
  19. Definitely worth a second round pick.
  20. Watch him mow down this lineup lol. The Jays likely will score runs off of Strider instead haha.
