  1. In the salary dynasty league I'm in, if you make mistakes or miss deadlines or over the cap, you get fined by fortifying a draft pick or something.
  2. Soriano, Victorino, Tex, V-Mart, Hughes, McCarthy, Kendrick, Werth OTB. Not the last day to acquire them lol, but looking to shake things up.
  3. Also, Shane Victorino, Howie Kendrick, Phil Hughes, and Brandon McCarthy are OTB as well. Looking to shake things up.
  4. Alfonso Soriano OTB if anyone is looking for a power bat in their outfield/utility spot. Shoot me an e-mail.
  5. Pedro Alvarez OTB. Shoot me an e-mail.
  6. Looking to shake up some things. Send me some e-mails or ideas if interested in anyone. If I move Alvarez, I'd like to add a young starting pitcher. Also, willing to move Alfonso Soriano and his 30 plus HR's for a veteran starter. Howie Kendrick is also available - looking for a solid prospect and a draft pick.
  7. Anything named RBI Baseball doesn't sound too promising. I bet JPA will love this game. He should be on the front cover.
  8. Anythings possible. I didn't have Braun and Stanton in the playoffs; Kemp was nonexistent for me the entire season. Interested in Zobrist as a SS?
  9. Still do the deal? D'Backs sign Bronson Arroyo, so that means bye bye to Delgado likely.
  10. You've by far had the best offseason in the FC league. You got some great bargains, and look poised to be a top dog! It's a 30 team league yes. Thanks I even had Andrew Cashner, Jon Niese, Francisco Liriano, RA Dickey and Alexi Ogando in that rotation at one point as well haha. I moved Cashner and Liriano and Sanchez in a deal for Bautista and Salazar and Lake, and then moved Bautista and Lawrie in a deal for Hosmer and Perez. I traded Stroman to land Casty for third base. I definitely want to upgrade one of my OF spots I use on Lake, though it's a 100M cap, and right now I'm at 106M so I have to pull out some magic to land a young top OF with some pop making a low salary
  11. Long term, considering Starlin is younger and is locked up at a decent amount, that's why I'm considering this deal. In a yearly league, or non-salary league, I'd obviously choose Desmond over Starlin. If Castro reverts back to his 2011 and 2012 form, then I'd definitely be happy and he still has room for potential growth as well. So do the deal?
  12. This is my team right now. I've made a lot moves since I took over the Blue Jays in September lol. I'm in a tough division though - both the Rays and Red Sox are pretty solid teams. The Rays even have Strasburg and Mike Trout ugh (don't ask me how that happened - the manager of the Angels is stupid haha). Batters: C: Salvador Perez (3.3M 2016 +++) 1B: Eric Hosmer (3.6M 2014, ARB 2017) 2B: Ian Kinsler (13.4M, 2017+) SS: Ian Desmond (8.75M, 2015) 3B: Nick Castellanos - prospect OF: Norichika Aoki 1.5M (2014) OF: Curtis Granderson (8.1M, 2018) OF: Junior Lake (0.5M 2016) (ARB 2017-2019) DH: Billy Butler (10.25M, 2014 +) BN: 2B Danny Espinosa (0.5M 2014, ARB 2017) BN: Darin Ruf (0.5M, 2014) Pitchers: SP: Madison Bumgarner ($9.21M, 2017++) SP: Mat Latos ($7.25M 2014, ARB 2015) SP: Homer Bailey (Arb) SP: Danny Salazar (0.5M 2014-2016) (ARB 2017-2019) SP: Brandon Morrow (4.5M 2014+) SP: Tim Hudson (5.25M 2015) SP: Wily Peralta (0.5M 2014) Bullpen: RP: Sergio Santos (2.63M 2014+++) RP: Drew Storen (3.45M 2014) (Arb 2016) RP: Kelvin Herrera (0.5M) RP: Dustin McGowan (2.75M 2014+) RP: Jose Cisnero (0.5M 2014) Disabled List: DL: [sP] Daniel Hudson (0.5M 2014) I know Castro can be frustrating, though even if he hits like he did in 2011 and 2012, that's still quite solid and I'd be happy. Tough call on what to do. I love Desmond and he's probably the No. 2 shortstop after Tulo in my opinion. Thanks!
  13. OT Trade Question in a salary league I'm in: I trade: Ian Desmond (8.75 M for 2014 and 2015) I receive: Starlin Castro (9M each season through 2019), Randal Delgado (0.5M and then ARB through 2017), 4th Round Pick (2014), 2nd Round Pick (2015) What do you think? Desmond is a top SS no doubt, though he only has two years of control left and I'm sure he becomes expensive after once he becomes a FA, so he'll be tough to retain. Castro is still only 24 years old, and we all know he's a far better hitter than what he did in 2013. Plus, he's under control through 2019, so my SS position long term is set (unless Baez supplants Castro at SS) and at 9M per season is pretty decent if he regains his previous form. Plus Delgado is a solid arm for depth and I get a couple of picks.
  14. Looking to make a series of moves and shakeups. Have some nice assets. Could look to replenish my farm system as well as move a hitting prospect like Singleton for a top pitching prospect.

I was watching the game at the Loose Moose and having a couple of beers with Spanky. Awesome atmosphere! Go Raptors!
  16. I'd take those predictions for every player. I'd like to see Morrow however pitch a full season healthy, which would be a huge bonus. If the lineup put together those numbers, I'll gladly take that!
  17. Stanton is ranked quite low to be honest. I'd take him over a bunch of those guys ahead of him. Adam Jones is ranked quite high as well. I don't consider him a Top 15 player in fantasy baseball, though oh well. Also, I'm a huge Ellsbury fan and own him in another dynasty league, though 9th is really high for an outfielder with no power. I understand him moving to Yankee Stadium will help his HR numbers, though putting him in the top 10 over EE, Braun, Tulo, Votto, Stanton is a head shaker.
  18. Home opener is sold out again. Though I really don't want to go to it this season. It's such a phony game and atmosphere.

I'm watching the game with Spanky. We're having a couple of MGD's. He's saying Joe Buck and Tim McCarver are doing a great job announcing the game on Fox.
  21. Looking to make a couple of moves. Just got back from my trip. Send me some offers or shoot me a PM.
  22. He is homer prone. I've probably watched him more than all posters on here combined. Tells you how big of a fanboy I was of him. He is definitely homer prone.
  23. I'd rather see Burnett on a 1 year deal over Ubaldo or Santana at 4 years and same AAV.
  24. I've always been a Capuano fan from his days back with the Brewers. I was even saying a couple of years ago he would have been a bargain signing after his strong comeback with the Mets, and some posters on here were bashing me for saying that. I'm not sure Cap would be the greatest fit in this ballpark, though he can eat innings, is durable, throws strikes and could likely post a 2 WAR. 1 year worth $4-5M would be solid.
