  1. Arenado fractured his middle finger head first sliding ugh. Can't they just ban head first slides lol? I had to pick up Casey McGehee for third base since Moose got sent down to the minors. Love dem RBIzz! Likely to condense rebuild June 1st!
  2. And so many posters wanted Brandon Wood from the Angels for Roy Halladay after the 2009 season lol.
  3. Is that bet still on when Tim Collins gets his first MLB save?
  4. The hockey minds at TSN know their stuff.

  6. I'm sure he opened up the medicine cabinet last night. Anyone hear of Spanky today? He's likely just waking up lol.
  7. And now batting for the Blue Jays, the third baseman, TROY GLAUS!!!!
  8. It's probably too many Bud Lights and oxy.
  9. Yeah like some have said, they aren't the be-all end-all. It was making me sick how some posters in the offseason were one-dimensional in their arguments/assessments by just saying "Steamer projects this player to do this and that" when having discussions on certain players.
  10. Didn't a lot of people on here say Samardzija was overrated and wouldn't pitch well in the AL East?
  11. If anyone is looking for a bat who can play 1B or DH, I'm open to moving one of Tex or Mike Napoli. Also, one of my catchers can be made available - Yan Gomes, Tyler Flowers and Travis d'Arnaud.
  12. My waiver draft was horrendous. Hunter has really sucked, and guys like De La Rosa, Hernandez were all RP's who landed on the DL and I dropped. Also, dropped Medina. Only KS has been a solid pickup.

  14. If Kratz gets more playing time especially with his pop and his pitch framing, the Jays are fine behind the plate. JFaS is the stat master - he said Kratz over a full season and with framing included could project as a 4 WAR player. Navarro should still be fine; though not that high on Thole. He really is wasting a roster spot to catch RA Dickey. There is no need to have 3 catchers on the MLB roster, especially Thole who is quite useless even as a pinch hitter.
  15. Stanton is a beast. He never got much love around here in previous years.
  16. And it was quite funny last season how many e-mails I got in the DDL league saying "Price isn't an elite starter anymore" lol.
  17. He can be an effective long reliever. Look at what he did in 2012 - especially with Cleveland. I'd definitely prefer Rogers over Redmond. As for a starter, I don't think he'd pass a good No. 5 starter - he can make a couple spot starts here and there or look good for a stretch of 5-6 starts; however he can't last a full season in a rotation. Look at last season how he struggled when he was used in the rotation on a regular basis. It's the same with Carlos V - great long reliever/spot starter who can fill in for a SP if they are on the DL for about 3-4 weeks, but isn't good enough to be a full time starting pitcher.
  18. Buck and Molina were a pretty solid combo in 2010. Buck provided a 2.7 WAR that season.
  19. 2010: John Buck/Jose Molina 2011: JPA/Jose Molina 2012: JPA/Jeff Mathis 2013: JPA/Josh Thole 2014: Navarro/Thole/Kratz All catching tandems during the big fat Greek's tenure.
  20. Get rid of him ASAP. How can you bring him in a 6-1 game at Fenway! Just crazy!
  21. You can get excellent seats on StubHub for either the same price or a lot cheaper. I buy all my Jays tickets off Stubhub, never from the box office anymore.
  22. Yeah mainly against RHP. I've always been a Seth Smith fan though I doubt he keeps up this pace. He's a very good platoon bat and can be useful in deep leagues like this one. He likely finishes with 15 HR's when all is said and done. I had him on my roster last season in this league - never panned out.
  23. My offence last week was solid and ended up losing almost every category. Also, when you get home runs from Tex on your bench, that makes it even more frustrating!
  24. You're likely get a W from Felix today. Pitching hasn't been that bad, though your staff got off to a crazy start this week.
