  1. Even in 2015, I'll take Stanton over Donaldson. I hate quoting Steamer to back my argument, though even they are projecting Stanton will be more valuable in 2015 and are projecting a decline on Donaldson next season.
  2. I'll take Stanton over Donaldson everyday of the week.
  3. Yeah usually face-offs is always a category in most fantasy leagues.
  4. If it were 4 years of Trout, nobody would hesitate as well.
  5. Sanchez is a reliever? I'd hope the Jays try him out as a starter. The Jays after 2015 won't likely retain Happ and MB, so that's two openings. I doubt the Jays will sign a big FA pitcher, since they are crazy expensive on the open market, so stock piling on as many young cheap arms like Stroman, Hutch, Stroman, Norris etc. is important for this organization moving forward. I know Lawrie hasn't been able to stay healthy, though with his skill set over a full season, he can easily produce a lot of value. I have no problem trading Lawrie for Donaldson obviously, though giving up their other top young arms like Sanchez and Norris on top of that is a lot. C Navarro 1B Encarnacion 2B ? 3B Donaldson SS Reyes RF Bautista CF Gose LF ???? DH Lind/Mayberry SP Dickey SP MB SP Stroman SP Hutchison SP Happ Like I said, MB and Happ are gone after 2015. That creates two holes in the rotation. Plus, any injuries to those arms I'm not sure there is much depth afterwards - Nolin, Drabek, Redmond, Graveman etc. How will the Jays make upgrades at second base, in left field and in the rotation moving forward? The main trade chips like Sanchez and Norris are gone. Donaldson after 2015 will keep getting more expensive and likely will be providing slightly less value, the Jays will have holes in their rotation, and other areas as well. Just doesn't make sense.
  6. Isn't he arbitration eligible coming up this season? And he will be 29 on Opening Day next season (he was born in December). He'll start getting expensive and he'll be entering his 30's.
  7. Yeah obviously I'd do Lawrie for Donaldson in a heartbeat, though trading Sanchez and Norris on top of that for a player soon to enter his 30's and get expensive isn't the best use of assets. Like you said before we've likely seen Donaldson's peak.
  8. Wingels was great for the Sharks last night. That first goal from the side of the net was sick.

    YES GO HABS GO!!!! cf
  10. Profar was the No. 1 spect in all of baseball entering the 2013 season. Myers is no slouch as well - has huge upside. Chris got young elite talent in that deal. You make it seem like Profar and Myers are worthless. They are probably better than any position player you have currently on your active roster so I wouldn't talk.
  11. Posey won't be moving to 1B on a full-time basis anytime soon
  12. http://d0inw0rk.files.wordpress.com/2009/08/alex-rios.jpg?w=490
  13. Southpaw once with the Marlins - was a rookie in 2009 I believe.
  14. During the first offseason in the FC league, Grant made a trade with someone and afterwards that deal was confirmed, the manager said they'd drop Sean West from their roster to make room in order for the trade to be processed and Grant was like "well if he's dropping Sean West, I'd like to take him" and Grant kept going on and on about it which started a huge argument and lead him to be kicked out of the league. Grant basically was kicked out of the league over Sean West lol.
  15. My team got off to an awful start - hit hard with injuries, player disappointments etc. I made a bunch of moves far ahead of the deadline to shake things up - the main one which kickstarted things was trading Myers + Profar + Chacin for Posey + Hutchison. I ended up finishing in 7th during the regular season, which looked nearly impossible earlier on in April/May. My team had a lot of success down the stretch, and I'm looking forward to the start of next year! I'm happy with the main guys I have on my roster and I feel with adding another key piece or two my team could take that next step.
  16. Don't pull a Grant lol.
  17. 9.5 M for a below average middle reliever.
  18. I'd like to add some more San Jose Sharks. Only have Matt Nieto, which isn't enough.
  19. Rafael Soriano and Casey Janssen are available for those teams who have space and who are looking to make a profit once the season rolls around. Also, will take offers on Brad Boxberger.
  20. Does mac ever post on this board? He never made the transition haha.
  21. Casey Janssen and/or Rafael Soriano are available. Also, I'll look/counter at your bball offer later this evening. Swamped the past two days.
  22. Yeah using the net on console isn't the greatest. When you have to open attached documents etc, it doesn't load.
  23. Sorry should I have been more specific - most years given to a FA.
  24. Zajac is a nice centre to have - he can be a 50-60 pt player as he's shown in the past and he'll put up nice all-around numbers. I was a huge fan back in 2009 and 2010 - those were some really good years.
