  1. I miss Scott Downs. The guy was a rock solid late inning reliever those years with the Jays. The one thing I loved about JPR was his ability to construct an inexpensive solid bullpen.

  3. Team MVP: Nolan Arenado -- has been a monster this season with 24 HR and 70 RBI, slugging close to .600! That one week when he hit 8 HR's was insane! Team LVP: Mike Napoli -- has been a disaster. My patience is running thin. Team Ace: Zack Greinke -- leads the Majors with a 1.39 ERA and currently is working on a scoreless streak of 35.2 innings. Can't ask anything more from an ace. Team RA Dickey: Chris Tillman -- he has s*** the bed. Breakout Prospect: Robbie Ray -- will be earning a promotion soon to my MLB roster. He's been a solid SP in Arizona so far which is encouraging. Dud Prospect: Matt Davidson -- why do I still own him?
  4. Mike Napoli can be made available for a similar struggling vet SP or a draft pick if anyone wants to role the dice on a power/OBP guy.
  5. I guess I'm OTC now. I'll take Igor Shestyorkin with my last pick.
  6. Also, willing to trade my remaining picks for waiver draft upgrades and roster upgrades.

And that's why Sacramento is an awful ran organization. Just ludicrous that they offered Matthews that. I'm sure they were bidding against themselves.
  8. Haha going to any other ballparks when in California?
  9. Doubt he would have joined them if he was healthy all this time.
  10. I'll be in Anaheim when the Jays are in town as well. Likely hitting up the Saturday night game. Seeing the Padres/Cards on the Friday night.
  11. lol yeah you shouldn't be dragged into this
  12. Rather not get into a huge argument with you on the forum tonight. Make room on your team in the LOD, so the trade can be processed.
  13. I love how you run your mouth on here like you know it all. Geez grow up dude!
  14. See above...^^^ I was cherry picking two months worth of stats, not just 1-2 weeks. When people shoot down my players on here, I have every right to defend my side. Beltran hasn't been that bad this season and like I said he could be a serviceable 3rd OF or DH on most clubs right now. Not asking the world for him - something similar to what V-Mart got, which I think is a reasonable benchmark since they both are around the same age, and like I said Beltran has had the better season thus far. What I was asking for was not ridiculous.
  15. In 39 plate appearances since coming off the DL, they have been solid and similar to what Beltran has done. Only 39 plate appearances though. I expect V-Mart to finish the season strong if he's healthy, never disagreed there. Just is ignorant on BTS' part to say that Beltran is waiver wire trash when they basically are both the same age, and Beltran has been more valuable in fantasy baseball so far this season. I don't think there is a drastic difference in trade value between the two.
  16. Since May 1st: .302/.349/.500 with 7 HR and 23 RBI, 135 wRC+
  17. Beltran's numbers since May 1st: .302/.349/.500 with 7 HR and 23 RBI, 135 wRC+ Those numbers are plenty useful to a team looking for a 3rd OF/DH bat.
  18. What's funny? Beltran > V-Mart so far this season.
