Yeah and knowing the luck the O's have had with some sluggers in the past like Chris Davis, Luke Scott and others, I wouldn't be shocked to see Steve Pearce be a late breakout star. If he's still hitting this way come July, then I'll buy in. His walk rates were solid and he always has had raw power.

So many players mashed for over 100 games before. I don't account spring training stats for anything. I think its possible that he turns out being for real (the type of bat like you said). Though I've never been someone who has bought into a 30 something year old after hitting great for around 100 games. I'd like to see Pearce do it again over a full season before I make up my mind on him. I'm just not fapping over him after 102 games last season and two games into this season. Edit: Also, as a Jays fan, I hope the O's don't get lucky with him, especially after the Jays could have had him last April lol.

I'd check out Bar Hop. Its always busy regardless, though its up on King Street close to Spadina and the beer selection is awesome and the prices are decant as well. Far better than C'est What.

C'est What has a terrific selection, though the service there is awful and slow, alongside with the expensive prices. Used to be a lot better, though the place has run down recently.

I'm seeing a Padres, Angels and Dodgers game at the end of August/beginning of September. I'd love to see a game when the Jays play in Seattle. I'm thinking of maybe doing something close like Pittsburgh, Cleveland or maybe Baltimore/Washington this year. Boston is also a possibility, though I went to Fenway in 2009.

The ballpark in Cincy is beautiful, though there is nothing to do at all in the city whatsoever. You have to go across the river to Newport Kentucky for at least a somewhat decent nightlight.

Patrick Patterson can't rebound for the life of him. Second game in a row near the end of the game he can't grab important defensive boards or box out other players. He had two Boston players in on the net in front of him on that last play. Just awful.
