I was so puzzled at the game today. Gibbons feels it's important to use Sanchez and Lowe with a 9-4 lead though in a close 3 run game he decides to turn to Hawkins and Tepera? I'm lost for words right now. And Lowe is used instead in the 8th in a blowout when the game was far out of reach. You're telling me losing 5-2 in the 7th and holding the score isn't as important as using Sanchez and Lowe with a 9-4 lead yesterday. Ugh

Tickets 10 mins before the game dropped to as low as $40 on Stubhub. Even 200 level seats at third base were around $60-70 when face value they're $225 CAD. It's astonishing how ticket prices dropped so low for an ALCS especially after winning last night.

They blocked off some areas for accessible seating & extra TV cameras. Though there are still some parts of the 100 level that you could watch along the railings close around the infield and along the baselines. Also, could stand behind the ropes for sections behind home plate. Though have to probably get there early to get a spot or else you'll be behind someone.

I think we've seen a record of new posters just post in this thread. It's been hilarious. There are some good posts that you could bump from September where some posters were saying that tickets would sell for 4x - 5x haha. I think some posters owe ECJF an apology lol

Wow glad I got rid of my singles at $20 above cost just this afternoon. It'll be interesting to keep track of what tickets are going for on Stubhub an hour before the game.

Yeah CAD so made $100 off them. I sold them to someone I knew. I doubt I was going to get $600 or more for the pair from someone else.

There are still some listings on Kijiji where idiots are listing tickets at like $400-500 each seat for outfield or baseline seats lol.

I just sold my pair in 130D Row 7 for $550 for tonights game. It's a tough market out there right now. If the Jays win tonight, at least they'll be more demand for Game 4 and 5.

That's cheaper then face value lol. I'm sure if there is a Game 5 and if the series is tied up at 2-2, you wont be getting tickets below face value.

With fees, the ticket comes out to $150 USD. Convert that to CAD its $194. So not really $125. There should be a Canadian version of Stubhub.

Moving forward? Nats likely won't have Jordan Zimmermann and Ian Desmond next season; Gio has been inconsistent the past two seasons; their lineup has huge question marks after Harper. Obviously if they make some key moves this offseason, then that could change.

On paper sure, though their best chance is winning it this year. They've gotten this far and to do it again over the next couple of years won't be easy. You never know what could happen to some of their pitchers; Cespedes and Murphy are gone likely, injuries etc. Plus as we saw in the ALDS and NLDS, any team could make it through in a 5 game series. Also, consider Washington likely will be a better team if they make some big offseason moves. On paper, the Mets should be the best in the NL East, though its so difficult to make the postseason every year, let alone get through the DS. Everyone is healthy now, so this is the year. They might not have another golden opportunity like they do now. Go Mets!
