    NFL Thread

Can you stream it on the Playstation? I can't find the app on the PSN store.

  3. This is thread is hilarious because all of sudden you have new posters flocking on here who people have never heard of before wanking each other off on how their playoff tickets are worth so much and in such high demand. I've got tickets to 1-2 games per series through the person I bought my flex pack through at Rogers and you don't see me coming on here making a big deal how much these seats are going for on StubHub. Its getting quite annoying especially since these are coming from new posters who likely haven't even followed the Blue Jays until this past August.
  4. I haven't seen any of these new posters participate in any serious baseball discussion in the other threads other than coming on here and fapping over how much their playoff tickets are worth! I'm sure there are some who have followed the game for years and know stuff, though I bet majority of the fans who have just created accounts or go to Jays games now just started becoming fans after the trade deadline. And when the Jays start to lose again or play .500 baseball, those fans are nowhere to be seen. As well, I'm sure those fans never heard of Josh Donaldson and how good he was before this season. Never said anything bad about living in a free market society. Though when posters on here are expecting ridiculous prices for 500 level seats and fapping on and on about it, I'll pass. Should have come and met me at a game back in 2012 or 2013...oh I forgot you probably never even liked baseball back then!

Does anyone have NFL Game Pass? Pretty expensive for the season. I wanted something like MLB TV this year for the NFL, though thats crazy ridiculous. I guess I'm better going with the Super Sports Pack on Rogers.
  6. Not expecting cheap seats, though its ridiculous that new posters who come on here think their seats are worth like 10x the face value. Also, someone who posted that they wouldn't even sell their 500 level seats for $10,000 is laughable as well.
  7. Prior had some of the best pure stuff I've ever seen from a pitcher. He could've been something really special if he stayed healthy. Him and Wood in 2003 were such a sick 1-2 punch.
  8. My god I'm puking at this thread. All these casual baseball fans who have never posted on this board before and who all of sudden hopped on the Jays bandwagon coming on here and bragging about how their postseason tickets are worth so much now and that money couldn't buy their tickets period, this is laughable.
  9. The voting results for the NL Cy Young Award in 2003 were a joke lol. Prior actually finished third in voting wow! http://www.baseball-reference.com/awards/awards_2003.shtml
  10. Also, Mark Prior should have won the NL Cy Young Award over Eric Gagne in 2003. What an awful decision. Mark Prior was the best pitcher in baseball that season.
  11. Both Price and Sale have produced the same WAR thus far. Sale leads in K/9, and xFIP, whereas Price has the advantage in ERA, wins, and innings pitched. I think the Cy Young Award race will be between DK and Price at the end of the day. The voters won't give Sale much love.
  12. He pitched 266 innings along with 9 CG and posted a 7 WAR season. His K/9 though was 6.90 which is very low in comparison to guys like Sale & Kershaw today, though Doc was never a huge strikeout guy to begin with. He still managed 204 K's that season, along with a 3.25 ERA and 2.96 xFIP. Halladay had an awful April if I recall. From May 1st to the end of the season he went 22-5 in 30 starts, pitching 227.1 innings, and posting a 2.97 ERA and 2.84 xFIP. Loaiza had a pretty similar season, posting a 6.9 WAR. Had 21 wins vs. Halladay's 22 (not sure that would have made a difference between the voters). Though he had a much better K/9 rate of 8.23 and a 2.90 ERA though a higher xFIP of 3.34 and pitched 226.1 innings which were 40 less than Doc. Though fascinating how in less innings, Loaiza was just -0.1 WAR less than Doc. There can be a debate who should have won the AL Cy Young Award that season.
  13. 2003 was a fun season, which was frustrating at times. They had no pitching after Halladay, until they moved Kelvim Escobar to the rotation. Cory Lidle was a huge disappointment in his only season with Toronto, Mark Hendrickson made 30 starts for them and was awful. They ran out guys like Tanyon Sturtze, Corey Thurman, Doug Davis, Pete Walker, John Wasdin in the rotation. Josh Towers pitched well for them in his first stint with the Jays that season going 6-1 in 8 starts. Additionally, the bullpen was a huge mess for the entire season. Aquilino Lopez was their best reliever that season lol. The lineup was one of the best in baseball that season I remember. Both Delgado and Wells had huge years, and they got solid production out of their supporting cast of players like Frank Catalanotto, Mike Bordick, Greg Myers, Reed Johnson etc. Phelps never followed up on his hype from 2002, though he still posted a .268/.358/.470 slash line and people were still high on him heading into 2004. Hinske had an awful sophomore season, though he did manage to hit 45 doubles that season, which did provide a bit of hope for him to rebound in 2004, though we all know happened haha.
  14. Halladay won the Cy in 2003 and Delgado almost won the MVP that year (he came second to A-Rod).
  15. Joni Ortio
  16. Ryan Murray
  17. Don't know if this was mentioned, though the A's called up Barry Zito. As well, he might make a start against Tim Hudson next week, which is super cool.
  18. Gausman, Schoop, Wieters, Britton, Wei-Yin Chen (has done well since joining their organization)
  19. The Orioles should focus on extending Manny Machado to a team friendly deal more than anything this offseason.
  20. For season tickets, I'd go at least half in with someone or even 3 people. 81 games is a lot of home games, and if you plan on going to only 5-10, its not really worth it. Sometimes its even tough to get rid of tickets (especially if the team does poorly). If you were going to get a pair of season tickets, 500 levels are probably your best option. At least you can easily resell them at $10 or cheaper on Stubhub to weeknight games against crummy teams, and its easy to make a profit during a premium weekend game. Even if you end up eating some tickets, you wouldn't feel that bad since those seats are cheap to begin with. As well with season tickets (not sure if they do this anymore) you can trade in your tickets up to 25 times I believe for other games. So for example, if it was a weeknight game against the Rays and you wanted to get some extra tickets vs. the Yankees (in a similar area to your season tickets), they can do that during a trade in. Then it would be easier to resell those premium games instead.
  21. When does the waiver draft start?
  22. I'm neither. I just find it hysterical that you created an account on this message board in order to start a new thread whining about how your Blue Jays postseason tickets are electronic tickets.
  23. The OP should lose his postseason tickets for this complaining... http://cdn.meme.am/instances/59284911.jpg
  24. You can print off as many copies as you want from your PDF tickets. So after the games, print off the extra copies and then frame them!
