  1. If they know its going to rain a lot where its unplayable, wouldn't you say they'd just push the games back a day if there is a clear forecast for Saturday and Sunday night? When Manfred was interviewed in Toronto talking about the roof and how they want the conditions to be the most ideal they can be for postseason games, wouldn't that fall into a similar scenario tomorrow if they get weather reports that its going to pour down like an hour after first pitch with a delay of up to 2-3 hours?
  2. That part is so annoying. Yeah frustrating had the two seats selected and then the robot stage pops up and when I'm done that after a minute of buffering a window pops up "Sorry tickets are no longer available." You think TM would hold the seats for you once you click them on the seating map.
  3. The only comparison I could really think of would be Erik Bedard. He signed a 1 year deal worth $4.5 million with the Pirates after the 2011 season and with the Astros the following offseason as well on a 1 year deal worth $1.1 million. I think Hill will get a guaranteed 1/3 deal + incentives along with a team option. Worst case scenario, he ends up in the bullpen which even at 3M isn't the end of the world.
  4. Tough call since can't think of a similar case like Rich Hill before. Maybe $2.5 - $3 million + incentives. Depending on which teams come calling and if he's guaranteed a rotation start.
  5. On the main ticket window page they say that new tickets could be released at anytime. I had the two blue icons clicked and ready to go and as it was done buffering, the window said they were gone.
  6. f*** there was a pair for Game in 521 just popped up and seats were snagged ugh. I have both seating map windows popped up on my computer.
  7. You hope she would understand lol.
  8. Its called trip cancellation insurance lol.
  9. I think you had a bunch of Mets fans from New York snatching up seats as well which it made it more difficult. As well, nothing online on the computers. Got both my seats via the Ticketmaster app. I've got one pair from my friends flex pack for either Game 1 or 2 (outfield or baseline seats in 130 ugh) but better than nothing. If the Jays make it to the World Series and if gets to a Game 6 and 7 that would be awesome.
  10. Nabbed a single for Game 6 and 7. Seems like nothing available for Game 1 and 2. Still searching though.
  11. Aren't you in that division as well?
  12. I'd love to be in a salary league with you!
  13. lol. You're an idiot for even suggesting that.
  14. There are hardly any ushers in the 200 level down the baselines. I think they have 1 usher for like 3 every sections after the TD Zone. I was in 212 yesterday and didn't see an usher until like 7th or 8th inning in my section.
  15. I think what you have is a situation where people are taking down their listings and figured that they are just better off going to the game rather than let their tickets go at half of face value. Alongside I'm sure there are people who saw all the cheap seats available are buying now since they likely will be heading downtown shortly in the next hour or so.
  16. I used to collect all dem bobbleheads back when I was in high school and university. Now I just can't force myself to lineup at 9:30 or 10 AM on a Sunday morning and then have to wait around 2.5 hours in the ballpark before first pitch. If its a bobblehead I really want, I'd rather just buy it off Kijiji afterwards for $25-$30.
  17. Though he's a bottom of the lineup hitter in Ned Yost's championship caliber lineup and only plays left field...
  18. Oh I know. Bautista annoys me sometimes as well. Though I'm sure most casual Blue Jays fans love Bautista and think he's innocent since he wears a Toronto uniform. Otherwise, if he played in New York or Boston for that matter, he'd be public enemy No. 1 here like A-Rod is/was.
  19. If he continues to have a David Ortiz type of career offensively into his early 40's, wins a World Series, its possible. Slim chances though.
  20. Not a big fan of giving Lowe 3 years. Before this season, he was on the scrapheap. His only other good season was in 2009.
  21. You should still be able to find decent prices, though if you wait before game time they likely will drop especially single tickets. Not sure if there is a Staples or a post office near by where you could print something. I know scalpers yesterday weren't giving into Stubhub prices though near game time. They know that you are required to print them for entry, so they hold that against you.
  22. Bautista reminds me a lot of Kevin Youkilis. Whined and complained about every call and felt that any pitch close to the plate should be a ball for him. If Bautista played for New York or Boston, Toronto fans would hate him trust me.
