  1. Also, since the league is a lot smaller now with 16 teams vs. 20.
  2. I owned Schebler for about a week in this league. I think I dropped him to pick up Nick Franklin. I'm using a ton of rosters spots right now for hitters who are sitting on my bench - guys like Cuthbert, Joseph, Morneau, Castro, Franklin. In a perfect world, trimming down to 2-3 would be ideal, though I'm sure if I drop one or two of those guys, one team will reap the benefits.
  3. Will backup goalies be as valuable this season as they were in the previous two seasons of this league?
  4. Sure, he wasn't that great of a player as he has been made out to be by the Canadian media or what casual Blue Jays fans think, though that home run was huge and won them the World Series in 93. It was one of the greatest moments in this franchise.
  5. Price tag on Happ was extremely high I recall (top 100 player in return). I tried going after guys like Paxton & Ventura as well, though that team was reluctant to move pitching for offense.
  6. I swear I had more RW's last season. Many guys like Tatar, O'Reilly and others lost eligibility.
  7. When is the deadline? Does anyone want to make any trades? I might actually be competitive this year since I finally now own a starting goalie!
  8. I think if he continues to play at a high level for the next 5 years, he'll get in.
  9. What do you think the cost would be on the Jays end?
  10. If I were a betting man, I'd probably bet against Sanchez being this good again next season. He does seem like a volatile arm in comparison to other top young arms that have come up.
  11. Yup I was contemplating it, though I mentioned that it was a deal I'd probably be more open to in the offseason. You actually only sent me one offer, not several.
  12. I find this league is one of the tougher ones to make deals.
  13. I'm glad I got rid of Ellsbury in the LOD last offseason.
  14. Yeah it's crazy to think how Doc and Lee just fell flat off the face of the earth. You would have thought both guys weren't an injury away from ending their careers and were going to be able to pitch at an elite level into their late 30's. Even Brandon Webb's career came to a crashing end. It's unfortunate.
  15. His bat has been carrying my lineup in the LOD.
  16. Yup, his owner is in last place in the AL haha.
  17. 4th in the NL, and 10 teams make it overall (so 5 from each league).
  18. I went to the game yesterday. A lot of tickets got released on the Blue Jays site around 4:30ish, mostly premium lower levels, then around 5:30ish a lot of OF seats got released behind the bullpen areas. Picked up a pair in Sec 105, second row which was pretty awesome. Not the worst seats and for $45, pretty decent. If the Nick Buss home run was hit a bit further, it would have been right at me.
  19. 20-team league, 40-man rosters. I have Chris Carter and Travis Shaw who I'm running at 1B, along with Profar who has 1B eligibility. I own Ortiz and Morales as well, but both only have UTL eligibility in EPSN. My pitching after Cole is Carrasco, Iwakuma, Bauer, Kazmir (DL), Kennedy, Gio Gonzalez, Colon, McCarthy (DL), Derek Holland and Chad Green.
  20. I own Cole in a EPSN Dynasty League. Should I trade him straight up for EE?
  21. At least Martin's bat is in the lineup. Barney should be batting 8th, not 1st.
  22. Anyone looking to sell a pair of tickets for tonights game?
