  1. I'd consider moving Freddie Freeman for a top starting pitcher. His bat has started to come around now.

I'll admit I wasn't that high on the Raps after the first two games, though I still was looking forward to seeing what they would do at the ACC in Game 3 & 4. Toronto fans in general are pessimistic when things don't go well for their teams. Yeah the first two games of the series were ugly, though so many "casual" fans wrote off the Raps. For example, I had tickets for tonight that I was willing to sell at cost and one of my co-workers said that she wanted to see what happened on Saturday first and then she'd let me know. You saw the same thing with the Blue Jays against KC as well. Toronto fans really have mood swings, even in the playoffs. When the team is looking down and out, most fans are negative and just give up. Lets enjoy this series regardless what Toronto does over the next two, or potentially three games. This is the first time in franchise history that the Raps made the Eastern Conference Finals. Let alone, they are only 2 wins away from the NBA Finals. Who would have thought? If you said that at the beginning of the NBA season, every Toronto fan probably would have doubted you.

Could you play JV at PF though? I mean that would be the only way to keep both JV and Biz. Though not sure thats possible over a full season.

It's going to be an intriguing situation to follow this offseason. I think the Raps could win with either JV or Biyombo at C, though they will have to make a decision on which one they move forward with. I don't mind Nog as the backup behind either of those guys. The Raps do need a starting PF, which I think needs to be the No. 1 priority. Al Horford would be a prefect fit. You can't go into next season again with starting PF's like Scola/PP again. As well, replacing DeRozan with a better player would be a huge plus as well. Raps will have money coming off the books, as well a possible trade chip in JV. It will be an interesting offseason.

  6. Hopefully Goins is sent down when Travis is back up, and the Jays keep Barney around.
  7. Bring back Sergio Santos, he was a great closer!
  8. If Sanchez continues at this pace, what do you think his value is on the trade market during the offseason? Especially considering there are hardly any elite arms available via FA.

It really seems like Tory never has anything better to do. Following him on Twitter is a pain. He's either in Shanghai tweeting pictures from conferences, tweeting pictures of the Raptor mascot visiting him at City Hall, tweeting pictures of him at major dinners or events etc. It's annoying as hell.

Dwayne Casey lost this game. Where the f*** was Biz at the end of the 4th and in OT? Ridiculous! They didn't have any rim protection and were missing rebounds by going small. And DeRozan can go f*** off, that wanker! Geez he's awful to watch.

With JV out this series, will the Raps dress Lucas Nogueira to backup Bis? He had some good games when he played at times this season off the bench.

Ah you hope Lowry can take control of the series and that Bis can step up in JV's absence and avoid foul trouble. We saw Bis hold his own when JV was out before during the season.

If the Cavs sweep and the Raps win in 5, then would they push up the East Finals even if the West isn't settled yet?
  14. Tickets for this game were going for $6 bones each on StubHub. Even lower level/premium dugout seats were going for $40-50 before game time. Crazy!
  15. I'm below .500 still, how am I considered elite?

DD's last game in a Raptors uniform this Sunday. Raps will keep Lowry.

Ross better not get any minutes in Game 6. It's ridiculous the amount of court time he gets still. This is the playoffs.

Yup nailed it. Seriously what is frustrating is that all the Raptors need to do is beat a s*** team like Indiana, and a somewhat decent team in Miami or Charlotte in the 2nd Round and make the East Finals. Especially without Bosh, Miami would be an ideal 2nd round matchup for a team like the Raps. If Cleveland loses a star player or two, then huge advantage. That is really the only chance of the Raptors winning something.

That's the thing in the NBA - an injury to a key player like Steph Curry could just open things up for any team. We saw that with Cleveland last year (lost Love and then Irving in Game 1 of the Finals). Spurs will have a tough task vs. OKC, though you have to like them now if Curry is out for longer.
