  1. Masterbather after he dared us to the bet the Jays!
  2. Even Chad Green did and he came from the Yankees. It's definitely a thing.
  3. Hopefully Jays bats see him this upcoming series in high leverage spots haha.
  4. Sometimes it best to bet in-game. Reds BP has been awful. Great call!
  5. Masterbather and Term just gave me some ideas this weekend haha.
  6. Vladdy should be MVP, not Springer :P
  7. I got the Jays run line by -1.5 FFS! Thought being up 8-1, this was in the bag. I came back from a walk outside and now 8-6! WTF!
  8. Damn, that didn't look good for Jason Adam. Hope he's alright.
  9. Looks like he'll be Atlanta's starting shortstop next season if he's healthy lol. Shocked Tampa gave up so quickly on him as well, but they save themselves $16M potentially next season since there is a good chance Kim picks up that player option. For an organization like Tampa, saving that $16M is huge.
  10. I'm starting a 48 hour fast to cope with today's loss. See you all on Wednesday at 6PM!
  11. Probably need more than a few pints. What’s in the liquor cabinet Spanky? Crack open the good stuff haha.
  12. Yikes winnable game that they needed! Sucks they used Hoffman yesterday but oh well.
  13. Yeah, even one of my friends had a ticket rep contact him and they're trying hard to sell these seats for next year. $250-300 per game is a lot. I was even contemplating going in 25% but that would be $10K lol. Would rather just buy another pair of Buffalo Bills season tickets haha. I told him if he wants to go to a game in that section, just purchase them off SeatGeek or StubHub the day of for likely cheaper or pay the price for that experience as a one-off. Would be tough to unload so many games at that price, especially games in April or against bad teams. Like you said, they over saturated the Rogers Centre with too many premium seats/clubs that are out of price range for the average person. A lot of these premium dugout/infield seats used to be $70-80 or even $100. Only corporations could really purchase season tickets here now. I was lucky back in 2009. One of my dad's friends knew a guy who had season tickets two rows behind the away dugout and I always bought a strip of 25 games off him before the season for $50 each seat/$100 for the pair. Those days are over when it comes to those prices lol. Did that for a couple of years, which was nice and saw some great games as well. Like the Halladay/Burnett pitching matchup in 2009.
  14. Yeah with Clement's hand concern and looking banged up a bit, not a bad idea to bring IKF aboard for some depth in case one of an injury. Jays don't lose a beat defensively and IKF is a versatile guy you can pretty much play anywhere.
  15. Went to watch Game 1 and 2 of 2018 NLDS in Milwaukee against the Dodgers, and it was a great atmosphere and experience. Brewers games are a lot of fun! Tough team and organization to root against. Except when they play the Jays.
  16. Be careful. You can get tarred and feathered for liking another team on this message board 🤣
  17. If Yesavage isn't called up today, he's not eligible for the Postseason roster?
  18. Yeah I'm not a huge fan of having Barger hit second. You need to go with Springer and or Bo in the top two spots. Want them to get the most ABs in a game. Would follow with Vladdy and then Barger hitting 4th.
  19. I hope the Jays light up Brandon Woodruff because I want the Jays to win but also for some fantasy baseball implications involving another board member!
  20. Blue Jays are going to have a tough time selling those Home Plate Terrace Club Memberships at $20K per seat lol.
  21. Yankees are hot. 7 straight wins and their big bats are crushing the ball. Definitely a scary team and showing they can on a late-season roll.
